I'd suggest using the target. The hits seem to be a lot more noticeable than the tree.
To this day I've never been able to see the dart when he shoots at the trees lol

The target is nice; makes it possible to follow the dart and see where it's actually going

My local group caps at 160 lol. This is a whole other class of blaster. Your life as a nerfer is good when you are complaining about being sub 200 fps
194 is enough to really hurt if you get hit in the neck
My local Club we have no speed restrictions if you have a blaster that shoots 300 you can bring it you have one that shoots 400 you can bring it
@@notgray88 what you get hit in the hand with it but 194 that is kind of soft I was expecting that thing to do at least 240
I just built one and the Scar Barrel drops the speed considerably. When it's off, it definitely feels like it's doing 240 with slightly worse accuracy.
220-260 is where the funs at imo

Not gonna lie to you drac, I was always just trusting you when you told us how far those darts were going, the target definitely changes that and I can see and follow the dart. Cool stuff man.
I much prefer the range to the previous set up. I could never tell if you hit the tree and I lost the flight of the dart and just had to take you word on how the dart flew. Now on your good shots I can see the flight trajectory of the dart as it reaches the target, which I find extremely informative.

Hey Jinx! The blaster looks, sounds and hits great! The target is a nice touch, I love the satisfying thwap when you score a hit.
This is a cool blaster, personally I don’t like the aesthetics of it as much as the Caliburn, but I like the look of the ergonomics and the scar is nice. The zip-target is also a nice gadget, your range is now second to only Xavier’s probably. Thanks for making such great videos Drac! 🧡💜
Sometimes I think pump-action nerf springers are going the way of the airsoft m4. Their so dang many of them on the market these days. Also liked when the friggin thing hit 192 fps and Drac just calmly says "a little soft".

I like the motorized target. It's a cool gimmick and it also means I can hear when the darts hit. The tree doesn't do that.
That target is amazing, much more reactive audio wise than the tree
I love the target setup simple idea to use a drill as the motor.
Its much easier to see the hits than the tree.
(And im sure the tree prefers it ;)

Really nice looking kit by Gavin Fuzzy. And, not to take anything at all away from your maker friend as there are certainly some proprietary bits, but, by the look of the comments, nobody is familiar with a clothesline anymore ;)

I can think of another reason for Katana compatibility - these days, we all have at least a few AFP/DZM mags, which have more or less the same locking geometry (aside from not being reversible).

my main complaint with your videos has always been the range testing, but this zipline thing works great! gives a nice confirming sound when you hit your target. maybe add hit markers in post?

If you could put an action cam or something on the range target and do some picture in picture, that would be really good for seeing a blaster's accuracy

another reason gavin could be making it katana compatible in 2021 is that the Dart Zone mags use katana geometry.

The SBL is badass
I LOVE the target.
For anyone wanting to know some real information on the SBL since Drac posted none as it's clear he's only shot it in the back yard, read below:.....Oh yea, Drac, you scar is mounted upside-down, derp.
-The SBL is the best 3D printed springer on the market, no question. The prime feels short and even with the optional "225+" spring, the prime is easy.
-Springs: The low FPS spring option will net you around 170FPS average with the scar using AF short darts, prime is super easy. If play 150fps capped games, you'll need to figure out how to drop the FPS more. The 225+ spring option will net you a solid 237 FPS average with the scar and AF darts. You'll hit as high as 250 FPS in some cases and the prime is easier than a Talon Claw or Caliburn. I never used the stock spring so I have no information to offer there. I have a fully optioned SBL so your results may differ if using 3D printed internals. The air seal is near perfect.
-Build: The only part that wiggles is the stock and even then, it's minimal. It's the most solid 3D printed springer on the market.
-Instruction manual: It shames almost any other 3D printed blaster instructions, springer or not, and even most manufactured blasters. World class.
-Support: It's like you're talking to Amazon, it's almost 24hr support from Gavin himself.
-Verdict: Sell off blasters, games, undies if you have but save 200 bux and order the hardware kit and every single option and springs Gavin offers, it's worth it.
As an SBL-H owner who uses the alternate buffer tube stock, I'd say it's pretty solid, but I can't make any accurate comparison to the standard retractable stock cuz I've never had it.
Can attest to the 225+ spring with all the options feeling excellent though.
I haven't got an SBL in my hands yet but while I'm sure it's great I think your forgetting about the Lynx. It's got every thing you listed.

This is fantastic. My only concern would be the silhouette………. One could mistake it for a real steel rifle. Other than that this is definitely worth buying. It’s brilliant.
Context, designer is in Singapore.
Milsim in hobby is a lot more accepted there, silhouette safety is not a problem when no one can get ahold of real firearms to be confused with anyway.
