I just love to hear Steve talk. So glad he sent the demo tape
oooooohhhhh i miss him so much i will never stop loving him.
My ringtone is "The Party is Over" so everytime my phone rings, Steve sings he is hopelessly in love with you to me! LOVE IT! How can anybody hate on Steve Perry? So stupid. Love that voice. I just wish I had been lucky enough to see them in concert with Steve Perry.

thanks for the clip! First I've heard this-always looking for new Perry material. Re: the 'New Journey'-Arnel is just doing his job, trying to make something happen for himself- I give him credit for his talent and dedication. What bothers me is the way Schon especially, and more subtly Cain continue to snipe at Perry even though he ALWAYS is a class act & doesn't take shots at them. That is MY beef-their petty, childish behavior-without his voice or a sound alike they couldn't sell a record.

Bottom line for me is that I'm just waiting for the new Perry material. He makes it very clear that he isn't part of Journey, while being a class act & wishing them success. But unlike the rest of the band, he has had independent success, & has proven his songwriting ability with Terry Miner &Randy Goodrum on his other projects like Street Talk. On Goodrum's site he says he is working with Steve Perry on a new project. We'll have his new stuff, & Journey will have the oldies circuit tour!

I think Steve Perry has the best voice to ever sing rock and roll.
I would never bash Arnel. He does a fine job and I'm happy that Neil is able to continue working.
I would love to see Steve perform again. Crossing my fingers and holding my breath.

@gluchnurse I AGREE! Steve's always been a gentleman, a class act. He still compliments Neal's amazing guitar work (and, like him or not, he is amazing---just needs work on his "people skills'! Yete even as recently as early this year Neal is still sniping and badmouthing Steve, somehow NOW he doesn't seem to think Steve deserves the recognition for everything he did for that band. Those woulds are DECADES old: let it go, Neal!
