Today I close the door to the past, open the door to the future, take a deep breath, step on through and start a new chapter in my life. My future needs me, my past doesn’t. I will always remember that life is an adventure to explore whilst I reach new horizons. Today is the first day of a brand new journey. This is going to be great! This has a better transition in my eyes :-)

So I'm making a game using RPG maker and I would like to share something I wrote that fits into the game I'm making. "What is it that you desire? To be strong, for the sake of being strong? To protect? Or to destroy?" ... "What ever you decide your reason to be strong... know this:" "Strength is a curse dressed as a blessing. Oft the price for the strength to accomplish your goals will be greater than you are willing to pay." "Master... do you say these things because you have experienced them?" ... "I wonder..." He grew silent as he seemed to recall a memory. His eyes softened and he looked at the fire. Longing glazed over his eyes as he was lost in his memories. "Master!" ... "Master!" "Hmm?" His eyes snapped back to focus as he looked at the two young boys he was charged with taking care of. Even with the pale orange glow of the fire, their eyes were locked with his own. ... "forgive me. I was recalling a time long ago." "But did you have to sacrifice something to be as powerful as you are now?" The question was simple... the answer... not so much. "Yes." "Really? What was it?" "More than I could ever have hoped. And that is all I will speak on that matter. What about you two? Would you sacrifice for strength?" "That depends... I would want to make sure it's something I don't miss. Like my brother." "Hey!" "Keitou... in this life, your bond with your brother will be tested and it might stand to reason you may end up losing each other. Do not disvalue him until he is but a memory." "But he's so annoying!" "Yes... and you will in fact miss that if he is sacrificed for your strength." "Then what do I sacrifice?" "That is not for you to decide. Fate will decide what will be taken from you when the time comes. Until then... just enjoy yourself." "I know what I'd sacrifice!" "Oh?" "I'd sacrifice all the bad things so that everyone could be happy!" ... "You know what? I'm sure you would." He ruffled the hair of the young twins as he smiled behind his helmet. Though the boys could not see it. It was here, in this moment that he realized... that he would do everything within his power to protect them both. Keitou was serious but good hearted and with the patience to deal with his brother. Keith was hyper active and full of love and life and curiosity. But despite how Gung ho he was, he deeply respected his brother and he in turn respected him. ... ... ... "Why am I remembering this now?" He picked himself off the ground. Darkness surrounded him and twisted itself into numbers and letters. ... ... ..."Here I stand.." "...bind my soul to my ethereal blade..." "...I am Knowledge itself..." "...as such I command thee..." "...come forward and punish those foolish enough to stand without it..." "...and so here we stand..." "...at this precipice..." "...OF FATE!" The jet black armor melted away as the great Primal Archdemon Azomedeus, the Aspect of Knowledge, for the first time since he was created, shed his armor. This fight was not to preserve himself, but to preserve those boys. And he would sacrifice everything he was, to save them.
Confession: UA-cam has been recommending this to me 4 awhile but I didn't play it as I thought this was gonna be a generic piece. But damn! This was just beautiful 😍 ❤
