    This is the highest standard of all the auditors, that by which all others are judged. His composition of videos, aerial shots, general standard of photography, use of proper music as opposed to the same unlicensed codswallop others use and his highly intelligent and knowledgable (and witty!!) interactions are all legendary stuff. It'll be a fair while before anyone, British or American, get anywhere near this quality.

In a trial lasting several minutes my lawyer pointed out the security camera in my photograph pointing the same way as my lens and belonging to the very company accusing me of wrongdoing. They paid my fees and a small settlement and got a big bollocking from the magistrate to boot.

That’s why you often get, go away, what you’re doing, give us your name, you could be a terrorist, you’re filming private vehicles, safety risk - anything they can try to throw at you to stop something they simply don’t like. I don’t believe any policemen honestly is scared of a random car they drive being posted online - just a lie.

      I'd disagree. Affable denotes easy to talk to and generally good natured. While at certain points this could describe his attitude and his words it's quickly nullified when in the same breath friendly rather abruptly turns rude curtly asking FP to 'jog on' without skipping a beat
      And does so uniformed, expecting that because he's in fancy dress anything he might 'ask' is not merely a request you're free to accept or decline but rather an order that shall be obeyed or else. This is equally unacceptable as voicing 'not as an officer but as a human' thoughts / feelings / opinions etc. while wearing the badge. And worse still attempting to pass them off as rationale for unlawful orders.
      Remember, you have to understand, as in if you wish to stand it will be under him and with his authorisation. Insubordination will result in forced submission. Personally, and I'm sure many share the sentiment, I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees.

If he’s that uncomfortable I suggest he finds another job where he’s very comfortable. The public are not here to make him feel comfortable.
    There are hundreds and hundreds of bent cops the misconduct hearings prove that. This cops talks about the public as if they are all criminals. Then he talks as if the police are 100% clean and done nothing wrong. Delusional cop living in his own bubble of fear and paranoia.

    "Everyone's on high alert at the moment, the threat level's severe" - this argument is fallacious; because, 39 people died due to a terror attack in the last 10 years, and 139 people died in Police custody for the same period. Now let's talk about statistics: to calculate the probability of A given that B, you take the probability of B given that A, multiply it by the probably of A, and finally divide that number by the probability of B. This will give you a number between 0 and 1; 0 being lowest probability, 1 being the highest probability. When you take the figures of 39 terror deaths VS 139 deaths in Police custody and apply probability notation:
    A = Death.
    B = Police Custody.
    C = Terror attack.
    pr(A|B) > pr(A|C)
    What this means is that there is a higher probability of a person dying whilst in the hands of the Police, than in the hands of a terror attack; thus, statistically a Police Officer is a greater danger to the public than a terrorist. By filming the Police, you are filming a person who is more likely to kill a member of the public than a terrorist. Therefore, it should be the duty of all members of the public to film the Police at all times, as a mechanism for protection, and to capture evidence of crimes committed by the Police.

    • @stevemacbr
      @stevemacbr 3 роки тому +2

      @Ese - The probability stats are good,... but perhaps another set of variables should be added -like,... Police that die in terrorist attacks & Police who die at the hands of the public. This would highlight the public are more danger from terrorist & police attacks,... than police are from terrorist attacks & the public at large.
      .

    • @simmer484

      This tells you nothing useful and the second paragraph is confused. There are 153,000 police officers in the UK, the vast majority of whom are actively being police officers every week. There have been millions of arrests in the last 10 years. Yet we have probably an average of one or two terrorists a year carrying out a terrorist attack. You are more likely to die if you come in to contact with a terrorist while they are being a terrorist than while in contact with a police officer after they arrest you.
      That being said my gripe with the high alert rubbish is that if you go back 1000 years there has never been a time when this country has not been under threat.
