FYI, Lysol disinfectant spray kills ants right now. We found out accidentally but we are glad we did. Now the ants on the kitchen counter are clean dead. Lol

I use lysol in my kitchen when we accidentally bring home fruit Flys or for when the occasional "sugar" ants get in the house.

Were those fire ants? if so, they love to nest inside electrical equipment. They will even nest inside a transformer until it heats up and explodes.
The aunts will short circuit your electricical things too.

Ants are attracted to electricity.. electric pumps, electric fence chargers, they will cover them, especially fire ants.

Cochroaches are just as bad as the ants. 1 reason they like the warmth in the winter, an 2nd like you said they are attracted to electricity. They will short electronics by their collective bodies piling together & somethings they will chew thru the wire casings. :~)

Just a suggestion, Chad. But if we have an ant bed in our yard, we pour grits over the ant bed and it gets rid of them. It does the job and is environmentally safe. I would check to make sure it is okay for cows and donkeys to eat though. Good luck.

Chad, paint the white part of the camera chamo. Is there a spray for the ants on the tree or some sort of repellent? The solor arm being flat on a board will not allow the ants to make a home in it like they did with the other one. 🐜🐜🐜🐜

Chad, surround your camera with double sided tape and cover the exposed side with black pepper, ants will not cross the line (make sure there are no ants on camera to start with or they're trapped there. 😊😊)
There is a recipe online for a spray that you make with water, vinegar, and Dawn and it get rid of the ants

I’m right there with Rae I hate ants too & whenever my husband & our friend helps him do anything on the north side of the house ants come in my kitchen. So he’s been putting Terro ant killer & dietinacious earth down & it’s really helped. Haven’t had any in the house for a while now. Love you all & love your channels ❤
Yes diatomaceous earth is great and... it even works when wet!! We moved into this half duplex several years ago after it was vacant for awhile, and ants, spiders, moths - outdoor insects were trying to take over! We tried various things and finally, I sprinkled some on the carpets, under the baseboards if there was room or the half rounds weren't there in the tiled rooms, poured it in every garage floor crack and all around the garage, all around the property up against the base where there might be a nest, even in the driveway and near the front entry where the crack needs re-sealed. Now? No ants, big or small, in the house. No crawly anything other than a misdirected wolf spider about every 6 months. Thrilled!
Petroleum jelly the edges of the board the ants will not cross. I did this with my hummingbird feeders, worked great. If it keeps ants away from sugar water, then it should from anything else.

My husband and I love to watch all your videos. We live up in the hills of San Antonio Texas. He said to carry a gallon of spectracide or a Ortho insect spray. We fight 🔥 ants all the time.
To keep ants from climbing up into your cameras etc. you can apply the white sticky stuff used in orchards on trees! 👍👍🙂

You can use boric acid as well. It is human and animal safe. You can sweep it into your carpet (really well and don't vacuum for a couple of days so it works its way under the carpet). You will never have a flea problem in the house. you can also mix a little sugar in it to attract the ants...a deadly desert for them.
If you want to get rid of ants around your neighborhood gets some borax, it's a powdered form. It's got a little girl on it. What's a cowboy hard to find? You'll find it with the sunlight and tied. It works very good. Do you bring that to the nest and the nest falls apart? You're dead.❤❤🎉🎉
