The part at 1:50 looks amazing for speedriding, is that Gudauri? I am considering going there for speedriding.

Yes, it is Chrdili mountain, you can access it with 20 minutes long skitour from Khada Hut. You can find few more lines from Georgia on my instagram :) When going there, double check flight rules, because after heli crash, flying was completely forbidden for some time and I am not sure what is the current status.

Hello! do you have any contacts for an instructor to do this? I want to go to Georgia to do it .

Unfortunately no, there used to be a small school, but I never even saw them learning, but all in all it is a really good place to learn (perfect flying conditions most of the time)!

@@exlifement so how did you learn? i am very confused. You just go by yourself and hit the ground until you learn how to fly? :D

@@gbessone I have done the speedriding course in Poland (3-4 days, ground handling + snow gliding, basic wing control), then i traveled to Georgia to train for two weeks. Soliko / Khada Hut in Gudauri is almost a perfect place for learning on your own if you have the basics (and mentor for the safety). During february/march, the conditions are solid stable for most of the time, the spot is quite "hidden" from the wind, so if there is no back wind you just launch and train (only small rocks, no drops, but steep enough to go fast, plenty of space for landing). I managed to do over 10 flights a day with a brake for the lunch (so almost 100 flights per one trip in total). So after few days you can launch higher (Kudebi) and continue to train :D

@@exlifement wow amazing! how much time do you think i need to go from zero to what you are doing in your video?
I only know how to ski (normal ski nothing special), and skydiving (50 jumps). But i never did paragliding. And i am really curious to try speedriding.

@@gbessone it is hard to say, because i have no idea what is your skiing, skydiving and responsibility level :D the flights on the video are not super advanced, it was my 3rd season, but at this time i was flying mostly during winter (my experience then was around 300 flights). I have done the same flights also year before (~200 flights). Also if you are curious about my learning path, before speedriding i have done 2 parachute jumps, but i took it slow and also crashed one time in the summer, so it is not the best and most recommended learning path (i did my first flight on the full size paraglider after two years of flying speedwing).
