My husband was one of the test subjects for accutane when he was young. He had tunneling acne which is super scarring. It got rid of it and 25 plus yrs later it never came back (he's 52 now). It was a miricale for him. I showed him this video and he was thrilled u are able to go on it. He said u will b shocked how clear u get. Even his back acne disappeared! thataylaa .. i not only have horrible time finding foundation to match my pale skin and cover scaring... but that is also transfer resistant... do you have any recommendations?? Even my favorite foundations transfer off soo easily the coverage by end of day is awful! Any help would be so appreciated

i've been watching a few of your videos for a couple of weeks now (they pop up in my suggestions) and i've just subscribed - it is so refreshing to see someone on youtube who has similar skin/acne problems/fairness and uses similar/exact products to me (so i can actually relate to a beauty youtuber for once) and i am really keen to try out the products you recommend for us pale people! plus you're gorgeous and i love your personality. keep up the awesome work!
I used to have really really really bad acne..... I know this might not work for everyone but I've noticed a huge difference since. I started drinking apple cider vinegar. For some people, (like myself) acne can be a result of a gut health problem. Apple cider vinegar is supposed to help that a lot and it has for me!! I also take hair skin and nails vitamins and use skin products that are very gentle (not labeled as acne products) I use the "purpose" face wash to take off my makeup and then cleanse with a clarisonic and the Cerave moisturizing/hydrating cleanser (its the white and green one) I also started using The neutrogena Retin-A treatment at night and then the Cerave moisturizer in the morning that is for extremely dry skin (it has AHA and BHA in it that helps with texture) I've noticed a MASSIVE change in my skin since doing this routine....I hope if you or someone reads this it can help. I know what its like to have bad acne and try everything and it not work :( This has literally changed my life.
I too was suffering from really bad break outs these past few months.. And I couldn't figure out what it was.. But then I start drinking apple cider vinegar twice a week and also started using apple cider vinegar diluted with water as a face toner at night, and omg my skin has cleared up amazingly! ☺️🙌🏻💕 it's defiantly a hidden gem for preventing acne.
+Lena Mason what do you mix the apple cider vinegar with? I'm going to start trying this because I think my acne is just a gut problem. I gotta fix the problem from the inside lol, topical creams won't do the job i think!
+mochiii Mixing apple cider vinegar with water would be good! I usually put a tablespoon of the vinegar and dilute it in a cup of water. Approximately one part vinegar to maybe 20 parts water? Easiest way to tell how much is a good ratio would be that you don't get the slight sting in the throat
+mochiii i add hot water and squeeze some lemon in which helps with the taste as pure apple cider vinegar is not nice fr me! try to drink through a straw as too much can make ur teeth sensitive. just make sure u get one that is organic and with the 'mother' (cloudy inside) braggs is a good brand. apple cider vinegar helps to alkalize your body which helps get rid of acne as an acidic environment encourages acne and other skin/health conditions. good luck!
+mochiii also try oil pulling with coconut oil. google it its good and naturally whitens ur teeth as well

I had horrible skin and had to go on accutane 3 separate times. My skin has NEVER gone back to as bad as it was from before I went on accutane, but I have broken out pretty badly since. Right now, my skin is pretty good. Accutane is 100% worth it. Even though I have those times where my skin sucks, I'm always appreciative of its improvement! The cerave brand healing ointment will really do wonders for those dry lips you're gonna get! Best of luck to you!

I also suffered with severe breakouts for years, after trying every medication and product possible the big game changer was fish oil capsules. 2 a day and my skin was clear within the month.

Oh man, I completely relate with the under eye thing. I can never find anything light enough and it looks completely undone no matter what I put on or try. So normally I just don't even wear concealer. I'm definitely trying that white powder!

I love your videos! I struggle with acne myself and I have been on an antibiotic pill and onexton and it has been working for me. I struggle with cystic acne as well and it may help you too. I know you said in August you were going to do acutaine. But until then you may want to try it. Keep up the amazing videos. Your beautiful.

I've been interested in that Marc Jacobs foundation but I haven't gotten it for two reasons: 1. I have dry skin and the foundation itself seems dry and 2. The shades seem either too light or too dark. But now that you've had the brilliant idea of mixing it with my favorite CC cream I think I might actually get to try it!!! Insanely excited to find another youtuber to turn to for fair AND full coverage foundation recommendations! Fair bit of acne scarring, rosacea and just a general pinky undertone when the rest of my body is more neutral.
Currently Im working off a sample of MUFE Matte Velvet Plus which covers, BUT it's a shade too dark and not ideal when you're in a hurry with no time to bronze neck and chest to match. Headed to Sephora tomorrow to check out a sample of this foundation now!

Even though there are risks, taking Accutane was the best thing I ever did for my skin and my acne. From my experience, once you finish the treatment, your skin is flawless and you will never deal with terrible breakouts ever again. Sure, you will get the occasional zit or two, but that's normal. I was on Accutane for almost 2 years and my doctor put me on spironalactone as soon as I finished Accutane. I took that for about a year and a half just to make sure my skin was under control. You are going to love The results!

I sure wish I would have had your skill when I was younger (heck, wish I had it now)! I had acne pretty badly, and it lasted - no growing out of it in my 20's! Anyway, much older now, so finally no issues. I have very similar coloring to you, so I really related when you mentioned concern about anything being too orange - it just looks clownish on a pale complexion. Love that you describe all your brushes. You're a gorgeous girl, with that heart-shaped face, widows peak and beautiful gray-blue eyes! Hi Taylor, I know you may not see this but I've been watching you for years now. I'm a fellow pale princess struggling with moderate acne and scarring for the past 6 years. Your videos have helped me in many ways from embracing my skin tone to expanding my makeup skills. I was so excited for you when your acne seemed to be clearing up last year but now it's back and you mentioned going on Acutane. Growing up I've always been told that my acne was an internal problem or hormonal. I tried 3 different birth control pills and finally settled on the NON hormonal copper IUD. So now that hormones are ruled out and my acne still hasn't improved, I started working on my diet and exercise. I recently started the "blood type" diet. There is a website but also a very good book called "EAT RIGHT FOR YOUR TYPE" Since I've started the diet I've seen incredible improvements in my skin and overall well-being. I thought I would take the time to offer this information before you started Acutane to see if you would benefit from it. I'm not trying to sell you on a lifestyle change or fad diet, I simply want to share my experience in hopes that you may benefit in the same ways I am. Who knows, maybe you won't need Acutane after all and the side effects it comes with. If you took the time to read this Thank You, and I wish you the best on your skincare, UA-cam and life journey.

I'm happy to hear you can try spironolactone again - it was the only thing that cleared my acne. For good and consistently. No more breakouts after years of cystic chin/check acne. It also reduced facial hair, which was awesome. I hope you see an effect :)
First of all, I think you're gorgeous and I love your videos. I'm much more of a UA-cam stalker than a commenter, but I needed to tell you that. Second of all, you are beyond inspirational. I had perfect skin until I was about 22 and then I started breaking out a lot, and I had a ton of anxiety about it because I couldn't figure out what it was. Finally 4 years later I think I narrowed it down to coffee and titanium dioxide (which sucks because I'm paler than you are and sunscreen is necessary). Unfortunately because of the high SPF and oils in the IT Cosmetics CC Cream - which sucks - because I love the finish on it. Back to the main message... Your videos have honestly helped so much with feeling confident and learning to cope through the healing process. So thank you. 💕 Also, your descriptions are bomb!

Hey Taylor! I love your videos I'm somewhat new to your channel! I too have struggles with acne. From age 15 or so til now in my adult life at 26!! I have to tell you that the olay regenerist luminous cream used EVERY night, in combonation with Clinique dramatically different moisturizer nearly diminished all my scarring and discoloration. I would cleanse with Purity by philosophy and then a toner and then those two moisturizers faithfully and after a month I couldn't believe it! Try it out next time you want to switch up your routine!
