Stealing is bad, taking things that don't belong to you is a no no! That's because usually stealing denotes taking something illegally without paying its cost. In today's video, I review a great little book that will help you to "Steal the right way". We're taking a look at the new york times best selling book "Steal Like an Artist, 10 things no one ever told you about being a creative" by Austin Kleon.

Steal Like an Artist is all about learning how to collect inspiration from creatives that you admire and use that to generate your own personal style. It's also a huge kick in the pants to stop waiting to be the most original, the most fancy, the most revered creative and start making things right now.
It's about 140 pages but every other page is an illustration or graphic. That mixed with its small size allowed me to read through this thing in a little under 30 minutes... so there should be nothing stopping you from reading this book.
It's great for all forms of creativity. Graphic designers, web designers, artists, poets, songwriters and everything in between.
Personally, this book has been very actionable for my work as a digital designer and very encouraging for me as a creative in general. I can't recommend this book enough.
