The Chapel Basin Loop is one of the BEST trails in all of Michigan. This is a demanding 13.1 mile hike that takes you through some amazing scenery and is definitely a hike that anyone who loves nature needs to do
Some folks take the Chapel Falls trail or the Mosquito Falls but I highly recommend completing the entire loop!

My wife and I went a year ago and did the kayak tour. Next year we’re going back with the kids and hiking. Another world out there.

Just hiked the Chapel Rock loop this weekend. No body @ chapel beach on A Saturday @ 6:30PM; my family & I had the beach to ourselves. Beautiful day but the black flies kept biting🤦🤦😅😅 so we didn't stay too long @ the beach even with bug spray!!! Pictured Rocks is gorgeous!!!!
