Thanks ! I was searching a tutorial for this, as my Corsa D currently has a Frankenstein look lol (one headlight has been replaced after a minor impact, but not the other, and now the remaining old original headlight has completely lost its transparency again...and I think its bracket behind the bumper might be broken anyway so...) Thought it would've been harder... Now off to buy a replacement headlight when I can... Luckily Corsa D headlights no longer are very expensive on the web now, even more so for the older Phase 1s... Thanks ! :)
No worries at all! That sounds like a developing issue haha. Yes that was the best part of having a mid range (in terms of age) Vauxhall as the parts are relatively inexpensive.
I have absolutely no idea it was a star/torx head bit I believe from memory but it was nothing special that a standard wrench/socket set would not include! Hope this helps.
Other day i thought oh ill just pop this led upgrade took me over an hour getting the new bulb in the took the piss trying to get the cover back on hour and half wasted i got put the rest of the bulbs in all thats where i found this so gonna take my bumper off its me even thats gonna fu@k up ill break something then cause more work or ill end up driving without the front bumper cause ill end up smashin it 😂
ill never understand why you have to remove the bumper to get proper access to the headlight. Instead I got my dad to piss about trying to replace one of the bulbs without removing it, took ages!
I completely agree! I did that first time and i broke the bulb surround inside the headlight 😤 so gave up with that crap and just take the bumper off now 😂
Nice video, incredible amount needed to remove them. And yeah wrapping a lot harder than it seems on UA-cam. Still hit and miss result 😂
Yeahhh I’m officially awful at wrapping and honestly you would have though Vauxhall would have made it a bit easier to remove em 😂😂
