- This is my summer adventure from 2023! My brother and I adventured in Colorado for the Never Summer 100k ultra marathon! This is a very tough 100k in the Rocky Mountains that did not disappoint. Kuddos to the race director and team that put on this amazing race!

Very impressive nature with all the steep and beautiful mountains surrounding you and all the other participants out there in Gould Colorado. Shout out to your brother for being patient. He did a great job as always. Leave all the negative thoughts behind you. Stay focused do your homework and last but not least have fun at the Germantown 50k. Thumps up! It will be a fun-run-day.

It was awesome to see you and thanks for the shoutout! It was so fun to watch your video and see this beautiful course again. That lake at 9:20 was so cool! I ran through there so fast so I didn't get to enjoy the beauty of that area for long. I really enjoyed bombing down that section to the aid station too. So steep going up Diamond at 16:00. Holy cow! Sure was nice when those clouds and a bit of rain rolled in at 18:00. It was starting to get hot out there. Sorry to hear about your stomach issues. I'm sure the altitude didn't help at all!

Great video! It shows a good picture of how the race was. Incredible views from high peaks. Only the one was a bit too high for us, sea level guys! I had a great time too, heading over to Ruby Jewel with you. I will be looking out for your future races. Maybe we will hook up again at one with a little less altitude ;-)

I found your channel looking for Fat Dog videos and thought you seemed familiar. I realized part way into this that you were one of the Dannys I made walk a mile back down to my car. You got a killer hot year to go racing at 10,000ft. It makes the altitude hit that much worse. You made it up Diamond though!
Hey! Good to hear from you! Yeah my brother and I had a great time even though we DNFd. My Fat Dog year was not the normal course due to fire. It was beautiful though!

Beautiful scenery and great video. The stomach is a tricky thing to deal with especially at altitude. My only thinking is possibly evaluate how you’re training the gut during training/ trying to take in more calories during runs even those sometimes under 90 mins. Maybe taking the bulk of the calories in liquid form could help?
Yeah perhaps. Never tried a liquid diet.
