bought the 65 DS I cant get the cut to stay on. it blows a hole and shuts off. I am using it plugged into 110V . I tried cutting 1/8th inch plate steel. Not sure where to began.

@@washburnfabco I have the same exact problem as op. What settings do you recommend? My 65 ds doesnt list psi like yours. Onlky thing I can go by is regulator on back. I tried 3 bar at 30 amps....

do you feel like 80 psi is good for most thicknesses? this is my first plasma cutter. i had a chart that shows much less pressure, but to me it seems to do better with a higher psi than my chart recommended. I have been scared to go much higher than 50 or so. i read somewhere that the internals were only good for 70max.

I have always ran around 80 on all my plasma. Always be sure to do what the manual says is safe to do. At least start in the perimeter range and see how it goes!
