This is my first time starting welding in a fabrication shop not much money a little bit of two I got a couple I got a plasma burner now I'm going to get a wire either a n***** or tag already have a ride old Lincoln rottweger what else do I need

I bought this off amazon right before they went to the digital screen. I have used it a ton to learn how to wled and then three days ago it just quit. Nothing. No power. Dead as a door nail. I plan on getting another in a few months after Christmas presents and bills are done. They are awesome little welders. Extremely easy to start with for beginners. Wish mine hadn't died.

I got this machine a couple of days ago. I'm in no way a welder. I just love welding though. I'm retired, law enforcement and carpenter so I'm on a budget. This is perfect for me to play around with. Welding

I used to run a mobile welding rig and the overhead killed me then I went to contract, and the market killed me with what people were able to bid. You really need connections and know people who will get your materials at a discount in bulk. Also, have people willing to recommend you for jobs they can't take. Then you need to take into account consumables, if you going to rent tanks or own them for gasses, any repairs, and know your price per hour at which you can still make money. I got my experience in a shipyard doing Coastguard, oil field supply boats, and oil rigs in South Louisiana. Nowadays I won't even touch special products unless they put a down payment.

Id rather go with HTP for shop then yeswelder or primeweld but yeswelder you can get 7 in 1 for the price of one 210 MP

Daily inspiration bro! I'm well aware I couldn't have chosen a worse time to try to start small "but" I don't have much of a choice. (Long story short) I still have my 40hr solid for insurance (being a dad n all). Shits just rough out there and your videos keep me about it

The influx of do it ur self welders is you tube makes everything look easy . Fancy hats n expensive flashy shirts and a lifted chromed truck doesnt make welds .

My friend never uses his Lincoln 125 h/d wire feed, so i worked it off with labor/snow removal. I can't believe the money they get for these welders. As a technician I would by used.. Also , guys if your transorting welders on a heavy bouncy truck, maybe consider putting a welder on a suspension foam sandwiched..As they do not build them like they used to and the vibration can jar a harnass connection loose. I do not know why Lincoln did not give you a loaner unit. If I was a Lincoln Rep. , I would get you a new unit to review asap. Your video is killing them, ah ha. Keep of the good work. I will use them all, but i still prefer Miller , then Lincoln Century and down the line. There is a differance. I like to buy used with an issue and fix them up, work out the bugs then sell and do it again. Thank you,, i am learning.. Service Tech

Cold starts are pretty common with mig, because there's no time for pre heat...

I’m a new welder and I have 205ds. It’s my second welder, this is so much better than my first one. I use mig with 75-25 gas and mostly 023 wire. I’m welding mostly 18 gage metal and 16 gage exhaust pipe. Highly recommend.going to try flux core next

Ok- it’s October 2024. I have an old car with rust that needs to be patched - I’m a handy guy but have never gotten into welding - but here we are…. I’m looking for welders on FB market and seems like people want a lot for these machines. I understand 220 is best and have it in my shop. Right now Yes welders has a kickstarter with a steep discount. Should I try to buy new or keep looking on FB ? Look for a Black Friday sale or this yes welder Kick starter? Looking for some advice
