  • As part of our drive to a more self sustainable way of life we try and source locally grown and reared food, including wild game. In this video we show how we process a Muntjac deer which has been harvested locally to us and from which we will stock up our freezers with healthy lean meats.
In this video we start processing the deer by skinning the carcass. We will later tan the hide and use the skin for other projects.
Follow us on our Homestead, HomeFed, HomeEd journey, where we try our hand at a more self reliant way of living. We will be making things, growing food, raising animals and making the most of an outdoor life.
We hope you like and enjoy our content and maybe learn somethings with us along the way.
