Here's a tip from my endurance days (my current Morgan is too laid-back for endurance unfortunately). Since you ride with a watch, switch diagonals every mile. Always start with the right or left diagonal on the odd miles (mile 1, 3, 5). When you pick up a trot, glance at your watch to see what mile you're on and pick up the correct diagonal. They don't have to be the same amt of time, just switching on the miles is good enough.
Azim and Kohl look great (even though Azim had a bee in his bonnet early on). Would be interesting to see you address that riders also need to be in shape if they want to participate in the longer races.
What is the wonderful camera on your helmet? I am just returning to endurance after over a decade and 4 kids later, and your videos have been a big encouragement and inspiration to me
We have 2 different helmet cams. One is a DJI Action 3. The other is a Gopro Hero (8 I think). Gopro is a brand name as well as a "catch all phrase". I find the battery in the gopro runs out fast, other than that we like them both.
Hi Tania! Aziim is my "nephew!" ...my brother and sister-in-law own him and SJ leases him The rest of the horses you see us ride are mine - as far as who pays the bills they are "mine" but I think they think they belong to whomever gives them the best treats!
Hey Girls!!! love the video!! since i don't have a horse to ride but still want to be part of the team..... how about water girl??? lol wish i was there!!! and fly spray sprayer chick!

@@ktsparks89 that is an AWESOME tip!!! Thank you so much!
❤
You, ladies, are delightful. Sorry it was so hot! Nice ride.
Aw thanks! Love that we are "delightful"!
Another good ride. Must be so tough in the heat and with flies. That's where the "endurance" part comes in, right? Lol.
So true. Sad but true!

Love suggestions for content. Will work that topic in for sure! Thanks!

Love this video! You girls did so well in the heat & with the flies!
Question; do you own all the horses Lyn? Or does SJ own Azim?

You're in! We can always use a fly spray sprayer chick!! Welcome to the team!
What kind of watch are y’all using? I have looked for one like that but can’t seem to find one
Garmin forerunners
What watch do you use?
Over the years we’ve used different versions of the garmin forerunner series.
