A great video with very interesting and informative narrative. It's a credit to all those companies who have stood the test of time, especially when others have fallen by the wayside. I remember Woodside's Glenluce depot from the early '80s when I used to cross to Larne every week. Colin - Colchester
What a lovely video, absolutely love the narration, nice to hear you talking about Dukes, I used to do night trunk in the early 80s, I was with Scottish Road Services, used to do Leyland trunk, then we started a Northampton trunk, I’m retired now. A driver called George Hardie (budgie) left us and started with Woodside, think he done night trunk to Glenluce from Preston. Once again, really great video with the commentary. Kind regards, Johnny
Love your videos so much. I have them in the background, I find it soothing. Would you be able to tell us a bit about your history as a driver? I’d be really interested :)
It's pretty much 2 types, on the motorway we have large services pretty much as you would see in Europe, very expensive, and no character, but we have some small independent truckstops which are more traditional and similar to maybe les routiers as you would find in France for example. Hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 😊
Thanks for taking your time to show us some of your trucks in the UK Great narration easy listening Bob in Alberta Canada 🇨🇦

Suttons used to deliver ISO tanks to the company I worked for using ERF tractors. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Another great video, thanks. I enjoy the voiceover and your observations, eg that the A75 was your old stomping ground and that you drove for Dukes
Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the comment !

I wonder about the truckstop system in UK, is that same as the rest area in toll road ?
