I'd rather see a small 5-10 min. video every couple days. I know you like doing the shorts, but when I see Oh , Mike finally put out a video on the OML channel and it's a dog-gone short, I get disappointed! I'm pretty sure that's why others make complaints about the shorts, too. 😊 Glad the French drain has cleared up the majority of the issues. I know that heavy rain mess was quite the pile of trouble for you! Nice to see you enjoying the back patio again!

I did commercial cleaning for many years. I'll agree,hardwood and laminate floors show dirt and dog hair constantly,but I think it's better than carpeting. Carpeting would be nasty if we ever lost electricity long term! Laminate just needs a broom and a mop.
Beat the concrete floor I had for almost 10 years!

Yes.. awning would be nice. Walls in the dog room I personally don't see as an issue. You can see any issues with it being unfinished. Hard rain is good to see problems during day.. rather than in the middle of the night.

Where and what years were you a drill sergeant?
My husband was a Sergeant in the Army. He was in Germany--cold War. 77-90.
I attended Drill sgt academy when I was in the reserves after active duty, same training, but our job was to relieve active duty DI's,who were on leave. I did some cycles at Ft. Leonard Wood, Experimental cycle at Ft Polk. Then I was reassigned to another unit in another state which had no use for a di.They still have Reserve Drill instructors today.
