Hey, that's the big one I was working one, and it turned out great ! Try to identify all the weapons and sounds I used as instruments, there's like 40 different ones.
As for this channel, this will probably be my last cover, unless I end up finding a really interesting one to do.
I don't want to do straight basic covers, I want to put more twists on them. I also want to do more remixes and some actual real original compositions, even beyond FNF stuff.
I still want to release all the new stuff as an update to my cover mod, so I need to update a lot, and this will probably be my next video/release.

i love the end sequence, it feels like the mercs are at their final wick, and so spy tries to over exert their disguises to play as both mercs at the same time to try overwhelm sax that way.
I'm imagining that at least ONE of the two is real, but I don't know which, and the rest are... hiding somewhere?

I like how this song contains Durox's recorded voicelines instead of the summer update voicelines.
Saxton's singing voice is based on Druox's voice, which I why I used those voicelines.
Even if I wanted to, I couldn't have used Matthew Simmons voicelines, since the Vscript mod (Which is what is included in the Summer update) was only released in April.

I like how here you’re sort of playing as “the puppet master” instead of the original where you fight the puppet master
In the Vs Saxton Hale gamemode, the mercs are hired by Gray Mann to fight Hale.
In the original Puppet Master, you fight a monster that dominates by force, corrupting the world around him.
In this one, you fight a coward, greedy and desperate for a birthright that was not his, but too weak to fight.

He is the younger brother with no right to inherit Mann Co. and he has no special skills to be able to fight for himself, hiring mercenaries and using his daughter to achieve the same effect instead and then using robots once everythig starts to go very wrong.

really fantastic.
No disrespect to TheMaskedChris but I enjoy this one far more. Its sung by great characters instead of (in my opinion) shitty self insert OCs. Not to mention the 40+ in-game sound effects littered throughout the instrumental.
Also I randomly made a story for both sides. You can view this song as the last stand, both for Hale and the mercs
For the mercs, they've dealt with mistreatment from Hale and the Administrator for too long. They've put aside their interpersonal differences to try one last time to bring down the thing they hate most: Saxton Hale
For Hale, the mercs have failed him one too many times. He's put up with their stupidity and incompetence for too long. He's going to end this. He didn't expect a fight from the team, but if it's a show they want, it's a show they'll get.
No clue why I thought of all that, I just love how the dynamic and emotional power can completely shift depending on who's side you take while listening. It can be a last stand against a terror formerly beyond your comprehension, or a last stand against your incompetent subordinates who've proved themselves incapable.
It really feels like every merc gets their say in this song. Spy appearing at the Puppet Master section is funny, but it could make sense. Who's to say Spy harbored resentment just the same as the rest, but he just kept it hidden? Because he never showed it, and being the high-standard killer he is, he could very well hate Hale the most, which the song suggests through Spy's placement in the song.
Ik this is a rlly long comment, but I adore this song with every fibre of my being and I wanted to say it all
I feel like this would be a badass game mode in TF2 with all the mercs trying to beat saxton hale in one final swoop because in this song it seriously looks like they've had enough of his crap and just want to take him out as we see the mercs going all out
But that mode already exists, it's called Vs Saxton Hale (And its "expansion", Freak Fortress). Saxton voice in this very video comes from that game mode ! Yes it's not official, but it's one of the most popular on community servers.

So, I heard the Scout's Bat Bonk, the sound of using Scout's Taunt Kill, a gun I don't recognise for the Soldier's Part, Demo's Sticky Bomb Launcher, the Wrench and Sentry Shooting for Engineer's Part, Sniper's Rifle, I think Spy Backstabbing, and that's all I heard.

Oh yeah, it makes sense then.
So for Soldier, it was the Cow Mangler shot. For Pyro, it's the Third Degree Player hit (The snare). And for Engineer, it's the Teleporter destruction sound (The cymbal crash, 3 out of 4 times, with the first out of 4 time being the Sentry Rockets).
Since you got almost everything, I'm offering you a cover/but instrumental of your choice, if you'd like to.
I would honestly love that you can post your own FLP because of the adjustments you made to the song? Like it is really very good, and I just wanna replace Saxton as myself XD

It has to be a problem on your side, because I just tested with a fresh install of the latest version avalaible (0.7.2h), and it worked perfectly.
