That’s my dream family truck. I grew up riding in those and learning to drive in those. My parents and all my buddies parents all drove them. Honestly that’s probably the vehicle that gave us all our lifetime love for Chevrolet! Not the Vette, Camaro, Nova, Chevelle, or C-10 pick’em up but the two tone Suburban with a factory 454!!! 67-70 Chevelle was a very close second though lol. Also keep in mind we grew up from the mid 80’s to the late 99’s. Being the hillbillies we are we all learned to drive at like 12 because back then their was still a lot of dirt and gravel roads so after Sunday dinner either an uncle,dad, or older sibling would take us out and we’d run them back roads. Cops were not nearly as stricked as nowadays. Plus we all worked on farms from the time we could lift a straw bale so we had already driven many things like tractors, field trucks, four wheelers, big 10speed box trucks for market produce. We didn’t have a choice because if old Ben said boy go get the old C tractor back at the house and bring out an extra wagon it didn’t matter if you knew how to operate because you learned real quick and real young. When I started driving you could get your permit at 15 and the day you turned 16 you could take your drivers test. A lot of people would just get it the day before their bday then go in the next day and do the road course and get their license. Now these pussy limp wristed soy boy millennials consider themselves kids still in their mid 20’s and want every thing from the government for free. I haven’t heard of a kid testing on or even being able to drive a straight shift in over 15 years or more. Ok so that was a huge digression but I had to reminisce of the good old days on the farm, family, friends, and hillbilly heritage!!! Sorry not sorry!!! This Burban is gorgeous!!!
Would love to have another sqaud body Suburban like this one, the ol gal is perfect, it's the closest thing to a car I will own, beside myself and two other family members we have owned 16 chevy and gmc subarban's.
Very nice detail/rebuild. Thank God for the mute button. I strive for this on every used vehicle I've ever bought. It mostly takes time, but a few dollars too. The only thing left is the water bottle, really hard to get the stains out of those things.
You should tell the camera man not to get so excited. Sure it is a great looking Suburban but he should act like he has been here before. Gets nervous and almost drops the camera.
