This is my shots sequences filmed at Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k. I used cinematic light setups so that get film look from the BMPCC 4K.
I really impressed flexibility and opportunity of Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k.

It's barely 3 minutes long but I feel like I just took a mini course on lighting. Thanks!
indeed!
I made a mistake in the video. Olympus has 1.8 f-stops, not 1.4.
you should try the olympus 17mm f/1.2 man. It's superb
You are giving the camera too much credit. Your set design and camera placement is what really makes this shot cinematic. So many people want to know what camera shot what. After a certain point its the artist behind the camera not the camera or the lens. This shot would look great on a iphone 6 camera!
Made a mistake? Who cares. This is gorgeous. I want to see the movie.
Never mind, the result makes me see no mistake. I need to take your courses.
All my life on UA-cam I’ve never turned on notifications for anyone but you.
Thank you!
It is very nice :)

Thank you!
AMAZING
A type of so good to be true content
Thanks!
Nice lights 😁
Very good work and video tutorial.
Amazing work! I am curious if I can get a similar effect with gh5 with such lighting but with a compressed codec.
Amazing dot com!
Very good job🙏
That is the best
My dude you have just made me believe that you can produce magic on a budget, you need to plan and prepair so that the output can best reflect the input that was put in behind the scenes dawg ur the best much Respect Xola South Africa keep up the good work your an inspiration.
@xoladinho altice The only budget-friendly this here I believe is the camera. All the lighting, props and the studio itself is not so much budget friendly, but you can probably find your own way around some of the costs.
Great work dude - sharing this on a Pocket 4k Facebook group too. You need to be better known!
Thank you! :)
Great lighting ! why did you shoot AppleProRes codec instead of RAW ? Thanks you a lot for lighting tech tips !
Excellet!
yeah the Black magic is good, but shout out to that production designer, the real MVP here.
Nice 👍
Super
Amazing work ! Any filters used on this?
Greetings!!! I appreciate your great time and efforts put towards enlightening us about this career. Thank you for that I sincerely appreciate it. Please I have a request. What’s the possibilities of importing the custom luts from Blackmagic pocket cinema 4k to adobe premiere pro? Like the Gen 5 Film to rec 2020 hybrid log gamma. I love the way it handles a dark skin here in Africa. Or better still if you will be kind enough to share me your conversion luts for film to reasonable color to start with. I’m not a colorist but own a Blackmagic pocket cinema 4k. Please help.
Beautiful images. Can anyone give me the name of the song please?
This is amazing! did you create those walls yourself? I love the texture and the pain on these.
I want to know about that too.
Very nice, can you please share your post production techniques especially the grading process?
I will share it in the future videos.
The look and grading is just fantastic. Thank you for this! Did you grade it yourself? And do you have links to the reflectors? I also did not understand what is Frost 251.. Sorry for all the questions at once
Hey! I graded it itself. Frost 251 this is density of soft material.
Hey Andbery, are you aware of layering BRAW ISOS to increase dynamic range, and do you use it?
This is amazing! You really made the lens shine as well. Did you use any filters to create the soft look?
In some shoots using soft filter Black Promist.
%ули так мало подписчиков? это же кладезь мудрости для киноделов!
AMAZING WORK. What did you use to color grade the footage? and which picture/camera profile did you use to shoot the footage?
Thank you and keep up the good work.
Thank you! I was grading in a Davinci Resolve. All footage have ProRess 422 codec.
I tried this with similar lighting conditions using 400 ISO and the image had tons of grain?? I used BMPCC4K with vintage canon FD 50mm f1.8 lens
hey man your lighting is just awesome, please teach me how to achieve this kind of lighting
Thank you! I am creating online course now.
ANDBERY please let me know, I will definitely buy your course.
@@35mmdigitalcinema I will have been anonse it on the this channel.
I' m confused, in the video you say olympus in the yt credit you say Zeiss. In any case great work
the lenses were fir micro 3/4 for black magic?or u used speedbuster adapters and ef e mount?
What software did you use for the lighting diagram?
man please dont stop ! your channel pretend on the best channel about filmmaking and cinematography
Thank you!! :)
Tbh, the sound design is as on point as the lighting
so beautiful work broo, what s the title of background music ?
The music name is - Silent Wanderer
by Ryan Taubert.
I've watched your videos. Great work! Do You use only artificial light and shoot by night?
Sometimes I use ambient light with artificial light sources or only natural light.
Great content 👍🏻 Did you happen to use any filters on your lenses for any of these shots?
On the some shots I used black pro mist filter.
Really nice footage, I've subbed ;). When you say prores LQ, do you mean ProRes Light?
Thank you! Yes, it is.
