Its been so many years of terrible basketball that it feels like I've won a championship just having playoff teams..They're thinking about championships now? I can't comprehend the word..Not since the 90's has the words championship and Knicks been put together...I think next year we're actually right there..I do think it will take another year to build and shape more to beat Boston

It’s pretty simple the Knicks traded away 35+ pts a game in return for 17. Clearly the gap isn’t that bad given the defense improvement and addition with subtraction better spacing. However Grimes needed to step up to 12+ pts a game. So yes they need a scorer.

In games against high quality teams (hell, even the lower quality teams) you just know that Thibs will lean on his star players. Both Brunson and Randle risk more injury the more minutes they play. Leading up to the playoffs, as the pressure builds, this could (but hopefully not) be a problem. In any case, thanks for the vid, CK. OG needs to work on his mid-range game
The Hawks are trying not to send Murray to a team that will haunt them for years to come. They don’t want him going to the NYK’s, so they mite just take some penny on the dollar deal from the Lakers, just to not have to see him 4 times a year.

If we get Murray,we will have a player that can create his own shot at will. Murray can switch off against the Celtics, Heat and the Bucks. If Randle playoffs are like his previous ones we will still have scoring at all times, plus we can hide Brunson lack of height on the defensive end. OG, MiTCH and Murray defense....man thats eastern conference finals all day.

The Knicks need to take on the mentality of the franchises that Win championships in just about every decade or atleast compete. Star Talent is always greater than assets. There was a time where the Knicks were told that Clyde and Pearl couldn’t play together. Go get Murray. Pay the price. He’s a better defender, rebounder and passer than Brunson. That is Not to be debated. They will thrive together. Put Donte on the Bench and grab a back up wing for OG.
Jalen is the best Knick PG in the last half century. He IS a 1A dude.

I'll be in the minority here. First thing is that everyone is biting for every bit of fabricated news, most of which isn't actually real. Every new guy gets linked to us even if it's not true just for clicks. Second, we got lucky with having someone come in to our starting lineup twice, and it's mostly worked out. Ihart and OG have done wonders, but how many times are we going to mess up the formula before it's a negative result? Also, we are talking about the bench scoring, so Murray is out. Brogdon is another word for broken and Clarkson doesn't play hardly any defense. If they want Gafford, they can look after the season because that messes up the flow with the two we have already. Mitch isnt out for the season just yet. We don't know. Brown doesn't work because he wants bread and Leon ain't about that life. If I'm going to spend cap and picks on someone then I go for Mikal. It's obvious he wants to be here and he's what Thibs wants. A two way player. None of the rest are that. And if I had to get someone, I think Derozan would make more sense because I think he would be reasonable and run with the second unit for way less money after this year is finished. But I'm in the camp of not messing with something that's working. Adding another piece that isn't going to commit in such a way won't help, especially in the mindset that they are the one thats brought in to get buckets and that's it. Might be wrong, but that's my thoughts on it. Great vid as always.
