Hi Vlad, great tutorial once again and thank for taking the time to talk about the random texturing, I was the one who requested it on the forum. I look forward to future tutorials from you, keep up the good work.

The whole render is amazing, a real inspiration for texture detailing. I'm making a project with wood and polycarbonate in Revit and I wish I could make it as realistic as yours. Well done!
Thanks for sharing the Transparency tutorial. I've tried many times to achieve this on glazing when applying graphics, but could never get the right effect... this has helped a lot.

great tutorial. when I follow along and I change the material to foliage and add the cutout transparency I get these diagonal lines going across the polycarbonate facade. Nothing makes it go away except for changing the material back to generic or getting rid of the cutout transparency. Is there a step I missed somewhere? Also, when you add a material to the cutout transparency, is it just a white square or is it something else?
In this case the material is foliage, with a pure white image added to transparency. Here is my article on the Enscape blog. Maybe it's clearer here: blog.enscape3d.com/translucent-materials-in-enscape
Hey sir! You are making excellent content on this channel ! Wanted to ask if you can make a video talking about different renders and their qualities and if enscape is worth the time rather than for example vray or corona etc. Looking forward to any of the videos you make ! I am an architect student and i am in my last year doing my thesis and i am just starting to exercise with renders because i want to work doing photorealism.
Hi. That's a hard topic. I use Enscape and Thea because they're well integrated in SketchUp. Enscape has tremendous speed and Thea has great photorealistic results. I guess it depends a lot on your workflow. If you use 3ds Max then these render engines are not an option.
@@Modulusrender For now as a student I only use sketchup, so I exercise with vray on sketchup. Although your videos with thea and enscape made me question my choice thats why I was asking. Thanks again for the comment.
I Really like your content! If you allow me to make a contructive critc: You should enlarge the viewport. Sometimes I watch your videos from my phone, and the viewport is just soooo tiny

Hello, I am a student. Your video is very good, I have learned a lot, I would like to ask you, why is the brightness and color of your enscape scene so great? My sunlight is very bright. Is it the reason for hdr? I have replaced a lot of hdr singles, the effect is still not very good, can you share your scene hdr and settings? Thanks!
The intensity of the lights is adjusted so it fits in the overall lighting of the scene (hdri, lights, white balance, exposure etc) On the beams I just put an emissive material (warm color)
Amazing tutorial! I know you have written a lot of times from where is the HDRI, but maybe could you please give us the name? i can not find this exact hdri there. Thank youu
Hi a nice video ! one question what kind of light do you use in the Sketchup model, because I can't find one that can be seen in the Enscape render. Thanks !
Mirrors are a problem in Enscape. Being a realtime engine it takes some shortcuts with reflections and transparency. So you need some tricks to make good mirrors. I will do a tutorial about it.

very nice! but i was just wandering if similar effects can be achieved in rhino3d. It seems enscape goes much better along with SketchUp than with rhino3d.
hi there, i followed everything you did (except the light because my model doesn't allow for any) and the material ended up being grainy, eventhough other materials don't. do you know how to fix this? thank you in advance!
The translucent material is a little grainy. Someone commented in this thread that they got great results by rendering an image with 50% translucency and another image with no translucency and then blending them at 50% in photoshop.
@@Modulusrender If the cutout percentage in the foliage material is higher than 52%, no light comes in at all. It becomes a completely opaque object. So even if you want to change the percentage of the cutout to make the material translucent, you cannot adjust it because natural light cannot enter. Sorry I used a translator. Please understand.
@@유성재-z9x I understand. Without seeing your scene exactly I can't give you a precise answer. But from what you told me, in your case I would do 2 renders and overlay them in photoshop. One transparent and one opaque, and adjust the opacity in photoshop.
Thank you. For the polycarbonate material I guess it's easier to make it in vray. Quality depends on the scene, but vray has more accuracy and realism. Enscape has more speed and if you know haw to use it it will have better results than vray.
