2pac's an interesting rapper in that while he wasn't lyrically crazy the way his contemporaries are, he had a voice (rapping-wise), subject matters, and heart, in a way that just touched your soul.
@Absurd Turk how wasn't he that "lyrically" crazy??? Dude's is def top 5 cuh. I don't get why peoples is saying he not that good in lyrics
@@brandonfunkeu8029 Well, 2pac didn't have much focus in the way of punchlines, double entendres, wordplay, the way rappers like Big Pun, Jay-Z, Big L, had at the time. 2pac's strength, imo, was his incredible rap voice, substance in his lyrics, and how he could make you feel.
@@brandonfunkeu8029 well your grammar isn’t exactly aspirational, pac is great but he’s not top five on lyrics alone. There’s plenty out there that are more talented lyrically but pac gets the top five for message and soul. Dude really cared about what he was doing.
@Absurd Turk well Nas didn't focus much on homophones and punchlines either. But they still is sayin Nas is the best lyricist. Still Not a Player went platinum, he had multiple singles chart in the top 100, Capital Punishment was nominated for a Grammy - he had plenty of mainstream success.
