I love COG, saw them live the other night. They sound amazing. This is my favourite song and they pull it off so well. They topped it off with this fantastic film clip. If they keep stunning the stunned, COG will go a long way. I know they will.
Such a genius song so glad they wrote these words to paper and turned those words into this awesome song , glad they could put the subject matter into song so expertly and easy for anyone to get obviously. Well done and love this song it's on repeat as I write this

I only discovered it in late 2021 on a long road trip and was stunned at hearing them describe the current day. They saw it coming a lot sooner than I did.
Lucious Borich the drummer is Killer!! Saw him live a year ago. Epic band, Shame they broke up. :/ Borich has a new band though, Floating me, they're pretty good too.
I listened to this band when I was 14, unaware of the real meaning behind their songs. Now I'm 18 and rediscovering them. I was being guided from the beginning. :)
This is what COG are all about, mind bending and pushing people's buttons. (both musically and thematically) Which is why I like them. If, however, you get annoyed, don't like how they perceive things, disagree with their views, they've still done what they intended to do: get a reaction and for better or worse make people think. Therefore mission accomplished COG, keep up the awesomeness!

Just searched for this band after a recommendation on a karnivool vid and holy shit these guys don't disappoint. Also fucking LOVING the samurai goatee
I believe that this is an important message point band, "COG" was quite a head of their time but obviously this is something that they obviously saw in black and white, just as important as the unedited original version of Zeitgeist. the one that showed bombs detonating all up & down the world trade centres after the planes hit BUT before they both collapsed, Tool is another great message band. the 2nd coming (the return journey) is gonna be quite a doozy, Greada treaty, not in humanites favour.
the guitar reminds me a fair bit of Gojira cause of all the shrieking harmonics in the background of the verses and the intro has a fairly Punchy tone that sounds just like Gojira or Devin Townsend. Pretty damn awesome song

To be fair the majority of people need their lives to be guided. Many actually prefer it because thinking for yourself is not easy its hard as hell. My only argument comes in with the constant lowering of standards and removing of freedom in order to better appease the majority. Its making the general populace less capable by saying its okay to fail and never go anywhere, and then its also making it harder to go anywhere. Thats due to some key simple minded left wingers a couple decades ago.
