I'm not British and I don't know her, or her political affiliation or views, but this is so true! Respect to her for speaking up against sexism and ageism.. You only need look at this comment section to know she's right about how women are viewed.
how is this related to Islam! I'm a Muslim and I totally agree with her. please don't spread Islamophobia
Charlotte a very sexy woman
So not everyone agrees, its auto sexism? and you wonder why you arent taken more seriously?
no harm but they seem to have the right idea, women will believe they are genuine victims in the western world, when everything is geared towards their success and health. Yet men still out do them in the workplace. Perhaps this shows that females have different priorities...?
It also seems to be females wanting mass immigration and regressive politics, spurned on by the new religion of marxist feminism, ironically. Men have really had enough, so you may start hearing the word 'no' to your childish whining antics.
see dave pamell in the comments above? this is why women refuse to see anything but their own gynocentric viewpoint, too many men humouring laughable rhetoric. Not until you are over 40 or have sons will you ever acknowledge your own massive privilege. But i cant help but think its massive projection of female insecurities.
Anecdotally, so not scientific at all, but I have seen many elections where a young man is criticized for being inexperienced and not understanding how politics work and many old men criticized for being out of touch or on death's door. I am not saying that women are not discarded, I am simply asking if both sides of her case are true. It seems to me that she took the stated negatives with the women and stated positives with the men when the case could be made using the reverse as well (stated positive with women, stated negative with men). I don't have the same level of knowledge on women running as I have seen with men.
A5harpie men get treated that way too but it's just much more common with women.
interesting fact that Harriet Harman was lobbying to lower the age of sexual consent to 14 years old.... makes you wonder though doesnt it?? why would she want the age of consent lowered... is it because she cares about the kids? not very surprising that the BBC welcomed her on with open arms... just saying.
anyone who 'chooses' to work for the bbc is not above suspicion, 'im just paying my bills' is not a good enough excuse..
Pixel Fyxe not sure if that’s sarcasm but she did actually, here’s the information on Thatcher and her buddy paedos.

A perverted little political scrubber.
Both sang from the same hymnbook.
what is the point of lowering the age of consent, do people even realise the amount of kids in her constituency that have sex at the age of 14
What she's saying is supported by tons of sociological research that spans decades. She's not whining, the fact that she's in politics means that she's doing something about it already. I'm not British so I don't know her affilitation, but the message is 100% true.
StrongImaginationA hear hear. Here is one such study that I learnt about (or maybe a similar one) in my first year of my psychology degree: psycnet.apa.org/journals/psp/29/1/80/
"What she's saying is supported by tons of sociological research that spans decades." I wouldn't use the term 'supported', as most of those studies, upon closer inspection, are not valid.
Like I said somewhere else, not really valid proof at this point.
+Settlers6 So you, with your vast expertise in that field of study, have decided to dismiss them outright?
I've decided not to believe them until they've shown valid proof. That's simply following the 'burden of proof' rule. It's basic logic/scepticism, my knowledge of the field (or yours, for that matter) is irrelevant.
I have seen every episode of The Graham Norton Show but I think that I will give it a miss tonight.
Margaret Thatcher anyone?... Regardless of your view of her politics, she was regarded as so competent, strong-willed and capable that she earned the nick-name 'The Iron Lady'. Oh and she also had children by the way.
Just goes to show feminism is less about 'female rights' and more about Marxism.
^ Very true, it's the marxist element of modern feminism which is so problematic. ^
She was a terrible prime minister though. Sure she made up with it with the Falklands War but that doesn't excuse the coal mines and the great milk massacre.
Woah, any proof of that?
I'm not going to spoon feed you if you want to know look it up.
Devoted her whole life to getting people to pay her to destroy the family.
Oh it's Harriet harperson who says the kardashians are "Brave & Pioneering" because they do topless or naked photos yet campaigns against page3 where the models are topless or naked photos!!
Go to Saudi Arabia and complain... The women there REALLY need your help
How’s that false equivalency working out for ya?
Wow, I never knew how much UA-cam users cared about women's rights in Saudi Arabia..
More than feminists, at least.
it's so easy to hide behind other people's problems just to pretend like yours aren't there
@Settlers6 You'd be happy to know there's something called "intersectional feminism"..
A Politicians prime is when they're good at politics. I don't really know who this woman is so I'm not sure if she was good or not, but what a bland and boring message.
she is a feminist. Which.. is fine and all, but she was most famous for bringing in woman friendly terms, like changing the use of the word Chairman.. to Chair-person.
she's not a feminist, she's a zealot, likes to keep saying there's a problem when there really isn't, troublemakers IMO. All my working life, I've never had any problems with male bosses or colleagues, guess who I have though? This woman who is so concerned for women, she's the one who's husband became an MP on an ALL WOMAN SHORTLIST !! Anything with an "ism" on it, it's all for power & control = NO THANKS.
Just because it doesn't happen to you doesn't mean it isn't happening. That's like saying, well "drugs aren't really a problem. I've never had a problem with them, so they must not exist."
When did I say it didn't exist?
She is why I don't vote labour. Man hating feminist. She probably hates and resents the fact Graham is one of the highest earners at the BBC. Damn those successful men.
I think this is the first politician that's been on the couch since Ann Widdecombe -(no relation to Josh by the way at least I don't think)-
"Reassuringly virile!" hahahaha
That Andrew clap tho 1:05 - 1:08 LOL
1:05 How has no one noticed this ridiculous clap Andrew Garfield is doing?
Watch the whole show, and it's apparent why he's doing it.
This woman love P.I.E
So how did you vote on those welfare cuts Harriet?
Just a pity Mr Norton never asked her about "PIE"......if you don't know about this I suggest you go have a look. It will give you a very different opinion on this woman....
I get the feeling it would have been a biased exchange of information.
So do you agree with what she stood for when she supported "PIE"....
No.
I know nothing about her political agenda. but every word she said is correct. as in. 100% true. as in. FACTS.
Then perhaps you should read up on her. A very divisive politician
Steven Cassidy I said that I only agreed with her on what she said here. even a broken clock..
that's Labour for you. Everyone's "equal & we're all the same", yet her party especially don't stop banging on about so-called "minority" groups. Mind you, that's where their support is mostly from now, so makes sense I suppose?
Houda Zee as in what other thing
Hollyweed as in TRUTH
A round table conference hosted by U.K. lawmakers Jim Shannon and Fiona Bruce on Parliament Hill on April 17 focused on China's state-sanctioned organ harvesting crimes.
Nine human rights activists gave speeches at the conference, including former Canadian diplomat David Kilgour, journalist Ethan Gutmann, the vice chairman of Conservative Party Human Rights Commission Benedict Rogers, and Uyghur doctor Enver Tohti.
The speakers called upon the British government to take action to stop this human rights crime.
Ethan Gutmann attends the conference on April 17.
Benedict Rogers gives a speech at the conference.
Based on his investigative research, David Kilgour concluded that large-scale forced organ harvesting is still going on in China.
He estimates that more than 60,000 organ transplants were conducted in 2016 in China, much higher than the 10,000 claimed by the Chinese government.
He called upon the international community to exert pressure on the Chinese government. He urged the organ transplant doctors not to be “willfully blind” on this issue.
Dear oh dear. Horrific.
Thanks for letting us know.
Harriet Harman and the Labour party should consider joining the libel party as a coalition to remain in power for many years just as Robbery Menzies remained in power as the liberal leader in Australia for 16 years until 1965.
1:05 what sort of clap is that? The Glitch Clap?
Yeah, that's a lot of baseless speculation. But you know, whatever floats your eternally victimized boat.
You said it's speculation, but what's that based on? Do you know any realities other than your own, or what goes on for other women out there? People need to stop with the "I don't know what they're talking about, so they must be victimizing themselves"
Settlers6 I assume her basis is her own experience as well as the experience of her female peers. In most social situations, men share about the same amount of disadvantages (though some disadvantages are different) as women, but professionally, women aren't taken as seriously.
This has even been strongly indicated in social psychology studies, such as one where male and female participants were asked to perform a typically masculine task. Other participants were asked to make comments on their performance. These participants tended to attribute the success of the women to luck, and the success of the men to skill. Here is the source: psycnet.apa.org/journals/psp/29/1/80/
"You said it's speculation, but what's that based on?" Are you aware what the burden of proof is? I don't need proof to say that what she's saying is baseless speculation. I'm aware of the argument she puts forth, it is a famous feminist talking point, but I have never seen any valid substantiation of that argument. And I'm fairly certain you won't provide such a thing either.
"Do you know any realities other than your own, or what goes on for other women out there?" Yes, and for that I look at facts, data, statistics, all that good stuff. Not "my female friend tells me she's oppressed, so I guess it must be true", or whatever anecdotes one might use to form their perception of reality.
Settlers6 not oppression as such, we're just not taken as seriously as we should be
What's she's saying is supported by a s--t ton of research.
You should invest a larger portion of your earnings. You should be aware that no one ever become wealthy solely by conserving money. Nobody became wealthy by spending it, either. Wealth is created through investment. And the wealthy are known to be major risk takers and investors.
I've been investing in the foreign exchange market, stocks, and dividends with the help of Morales Camila, who works for an investment firm in England. With her experience and direction, she's helped me make big profits on my investment portfolio.
Oh, it's wonderful to see someone who also benefits from Morales Camila’s services; really, it's a small world. She has been my portfolio manager and mentor for the past two years and counting, and with her handling my portfolio, I have achieved a profit of 123,795 USD from my initial investment of 5100 in USD.
My first investment in my investment portfolio was with Morales Camila on the foreign exchange market with 9200. My Investment portfolio balance is at 187,017 in USD, thanks to trading on my behalf. And her commission fee is only 3% of the profit on your investment, depending on how much profit she has generated for you.
Morales Camila is also my portfolio manager. From the 1,050 I started with, I've cashed out 35,089 also in USD since meeting her. It has aided me in repaying my debts and mortgage.
Your return rate is assured at 98% with Ms Morales Camila’s direction or approach, and the risk proportion is only 2%, which is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I've been using her services for about 2 years and a half.
Her services are exceptional and the greatest you will ever have.
Hi

How that has not been arrested is beyond me , does not say much for norton either
Very twisted and bitter. No wonder we have almost a police/nanny state. This lady will probably go to her grave angry like most so called feminists
I agree. she and many other feminists will be angry every day until she days and blame men for it. what a sad life
Whereas there's not a hint of bitterness in your actions :-S
yeah women in politics works so well. look at sweden for example, the pinnacle of western civilisation and clearly a role model in the eyes of our government.
This is why I no longer watch the television - when a feminist says something stupid and gets applause for it you know the dumbing down has reached new depths.
I don't get it, why is what she said stupid?
No one thinks this.. you're just imagining it.
Bravo 👏 👏 👏
woooooo 1 million!!!
A woman is the prime minister. Where does the phrase 'grumpy old man' come from?
hello, Sean Wilcock how are you doing today?
I support equality for women. Women should have freedom, and power.
Diolch.
Sums up everything that is wrong with British politics, that this malevolent nonentity could ever be considered a role model for young women.

Well that's not how it's working for Rahul Gandhi he is eternally pappu while Priyanka Gandhi is smart (which is true) but still doesn't that debase her reasoning
More a reflection of the individual than gender.
I get that 👍
always love graham norton show after conan, kimmel, corden, fallon
I thought the way she made her point was funny and polite. So many people want to be nasty, but she was really classy about it and I seriously appreciate that!
classy??? She's accused people of sexual advances but those she's accused are all dead so can't fight back. Classy is not the word I'd use.
Also she talks about women in politics without mentioning the fact THE PRIME MINISTER IS A WOMEN SO SHUT UR CAKEHOLE
hello, Angela Brown how are you doing today?
Andrew 😩❤️
Harriet Harman!!!! WTF!! Does the BBC expect us to watch Harriet Harperson. If they want people to get annoyed at the Graham Norton show - then continue having her on there. The most divisive politician out there....
You don't have to watch it. See ya
X
Some women get on and do things, and some women just whine.
The fact that Theresa May is Prime Minister and Harriet Harman is not shows which strategy is actually better for accomplishing what feminists pretend to believe in.
You do know how May became PM, right? Nobody else put themselves forward. That's it.
Nonsense. In the chambers she was put forward, and everyone else decided she was the most capable, so didn't challenge her. I don't like her, but there you have it.
So, nobody challenged her ? We all must have imagined that Michael Gove and Andrea Leadsom challenge then.
Yeah, except that's because of feminist pressures too. Before feminism there was always a tendency to assist women. That's a traditional, conservative point of view - that was an important compromise between the sexes. But when that compromise is ruined what's left for men? Men get the blame. Women get no children, or no husband to help support them and their children, because of feminism, and government modelled on Tony Blair.
Gove didn't enter the leadership contest anyway, and Leadsome pulled out of it when she was May's only opponent.
You past it love, nobody would touch you.
Ask yourselves this ladies, since you are all for equality/fairness. What did you do/how did you celebrate international man's day? See the hypocrisy?
The kinds of people that take such pleasure in perceiving themselves as victims are pretty pathetic.
and those she's accused are all dead so they can't answer her accusations. Classy, isn't she?
Rely kind course war consistent business digital chronic satisfaction knowledge visual fact.
What a bubble
mean small mouth people - not to be trusted. i remember her and jack straw always ambitious, always politicians; never had a real life. years of bs
Poor poor victim
Well that was stupid.

Do you support paedophiles?
Ffs 😂😂🙈🙈🙈🙈🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
She's right, y'know.
harry potter
Wow ! Love what she said. He is absolutely correct !
didn't believe it when her husband became on MP on an all-female shortlist. Explain that one to me.
She's mad because she's never looked good?
She was boring as hell . Graham please avoid this miserable old ladies on your awesome show . Annette bending included . Andrew Garfield looked embarrassed . Can't Blame him !
Garfield is a mediocre actor at best. Bening is a legend. I know which one I'd rather hear speak.
"When is Our Prime" Very subjective but physically 19-32 imo but in A business or Professional Enviroment 25-60
Bening and Garfield? No Pratt and Lawrence tonight. Wonder why!
It's because women shouldn't be in politics. Apart from Thatcher, she was great.
Hi
