    I'm not British and I don't know her, or her political affiliation or views, but this is so true! Respect to her for speaking up against sexism and ageism.. You only need look at this comment section to know she's right about how women are viewed.

      no harm but they seem to have the right idea, women will believe they are genuine victims in the western world, when everything is geared towards their success and health. Yet men still out do them in the workplace. Perhaps this shows that females have different priorities...?
      It also seems to be females wanting mass immigration and regressive politics, spurned on by the new religion of marxist feminism, ironically. Men have really had enough, so you may start hearing the word 'no' to your childish whining antics.

      see dave pamell in the comments above? this is why women refuse to see anything but their own gynocentric viewpoint, too many men humouring laughable rhetoric. Not until you are over 40 or have sons will you ever acknowledge your own massive privilege. But i cant help but think its massive projection of female insecurities.

    Anecdotally, so not scientific at all, but I have seen many elections where a young man is criticized for being inexperienced and not understanding how politics work and many old men criticized for being out of touch or on death's door. I am not saying that women are not discarded, I am simply asking if both sides of her case are true. It seems to me that she took the stated negatives with the women and stated positives with the men when the case could be made using the reverse as well (stated positive with women, stated negative with men). I don't have the same level of knowledge on women running as I have seen with men.

    interesting fact that Harriet Harman was lobbying to lower the age of sexual consent to 14 years old.... makes you wonder though doesnt it?? why would she want the age of consent lowered... is it because she cares about the kids? not very surprising that the BBC welcomed her on with open arms... just saying.

    What she's saying is supported by tons of sociological research that spans decades. She's not whining, the fact that she's in politics means that she's doing something about it already. I'm not British so I don't know her affilitation, but the message is 100% true.

      I've decided not to believe them until they've shown valid proof. That's simply following the 'burden of proof' rule. It's basic logic/scepticism, my knowledge of the field (or yours, for that matter) is irrelevant.

    A round table conference hosted by U.K. lawmakers Jim Shannon and Fiona Bruce on Parliament Hill on April 17 focused on China's state-sanctioned organ harvesting crimes.
    Nine human rights activists gave speeches at the conference, including former Canadian diplomat David Kilgour, journalist Ethan Gutmann, the vice chairman of Conservative Party Human Rights Commission Benedict Rogers, and Uyghur doctor Enver Tohti.
    The speakers called upon the British government to take action to stop this human rights crime.
    Ethan Gutmann attends the conference on April 17.
    Benedict Rogers gives a speech at the conference.
    Based on his investigative research, David Kilgour concluded that large-scale forced organ harvesting is still going on in China.
    He estimates that more than 60,000 organ transplants were conducted in 2016 in China, much higher than the 10,000 claimed by the Chinese government.
    He called upon the international community to exert pressure on the Chinese government. He urged the organ transplant doctors not to be “willfully blind” on this issue.

    • @ianfreitas3434
      @ianfreitas3434 7 років тому +28

      You said it's speculation, but what's that based on? Do you know any realities other than your own, or what goes on for other women out there? People need to stop with the "I don't know what they're talking about, so they must be victimizing themselves"

    • @ssh1487
      @ssh1487 7 років тому +8

      Settlers6 I assume her basis is her own experience as well as the experience of her female peers. In most social situations, men share about the same amount of disadvantages (though some disadvantages are different) as women, but professionally, women aren't taken as seriously.
      This has even been strongly indicated in social psychology studies, such as one where male and female participants were asked to perform a typically masculine task. Other participants were asked to make comments on their performance. These participants tended to attribute the success of the women to luck, and the success of the men to skill. Here is the source: psycnet.apa.org/journals/psp/29/1/80/

    • @Settlers6
      @Settlers6 7 років тому +8

      "You said it's speculation, but what's that based on?" Are you aware what the burden of proof is? I don't need proof to say that what she's saying is baseless speculation. I'm aware of the argument she puts forth, it is a famous feminist talking point, but I have never seen any valid substantiation of that argument. And I'm fairly certain you won't provide such a thing either.
      "Do you know any realities other than your own, or what goes on for other women out there?" Yes, and for that I look at facts, data, statistics, all that good stuff. Not "my female friend tells me she's oppressed, so I guess it must be true", or whatever anecdotes one might use to form their perception of reality.

    • @ssh1487
      @ssh1487 7 років тому +2

    Some women get on and do things, and some women just whine.
    The fact that Theresa May is Prime Minister and Harriet Harman is not shows which strategy is actually better for accomplishing what feminists pretend to believe in.

      You do know how May became PM, right? Nobody else put themselves forward. That's it.

    • @mikeyo1234
      @mikeyo1234 7 років тому

      Nonsense. In the chambers she was put forward, and everyone else decided she was the most capable, so didn't challenge her. I don't like her, but there you have it.

    • @celt67
      @celt67 7 років тому +5

      So, nobody challenged her ? We all must have imagined that Michael Gove and Andrea Leadsom challenge then.

    • @therespectedlex9794
      @therespectedlex9794 6 років тому

      Yeah, except that's because of feminist pressures too. Before feminism there was always a tendency to assist women. That's a traditional, conservative point of view - that was an important compromise between the sexes. But when that compromise is ruined what's left for men? Men get the blame. Women get no children, or no husband to help support them and their children, because of feminism, and government modelled on Tony Blair.

      Gove didn't enter the leadership contest anyway, and Leadsome pulled out of it when she was May's only opponent.
