So great hearing your voice and learning about what you’ve been up to. Ironically I also just got a cancer dx too now we’re zebras 🦓 and 🦀 (horoscope animal for cancer sign is a crab). You mentioned doing possibly magazine harvesting you could also consider doing what you did this time which was fun too going through which bits you’ve collected to share I enjoy that. I haven’t been able to journal either though I do now bring traveling journaling things w me to hospital (have to get my chemo in patient for 5 days every 14 days for 6 rounds) so watching your vid was inspiring and also made me remember we need to give ourselves grace no apologies over what we aren’t doing our real job is to rest and help our bodies recover and fight. That’s a big job and tough on our bodies and zaps our energy so let’s remind each other to pray for lots & lots of grace for ourselves. ❤❤ 🤗 sending you & your family prayers of healing, & strength & of course grace!

Sorry I haven't been watching but its not just you I haven't always been watching any videos much as I've been so busy catching up from last year...clearing out all over the place! House - craftroom/workshop - garden/garage... Its fairly unending right now. Slow and steady 🤣🤣🤣 So happy you are doing well and BH news is really great🌹😊 Hope you can find a buyer very soon, unless you have now as I know it's been a few months since you posted this video 🙄 always behind!! Glad to hear your updates. Nice visit with you. Rotting sounds so ick. I always say I’m hibernating or vegetating. I have days where I’ll stay in bed all day - watching videos or reading. Then, get up and move to the sofa. Then, maybe take a nice Epsom Salt soaking bath. I give myself permission to hibernate or vegetate. I’m retired. I’m pretty busy most days. So, a day now & then to do nothing - is a good restful day.

Prayers, positive thoughts and healing vibes to you and your family. My Mother always said once you get to a certain age (actually any age) that your health is your wealth. You inspired me to do a journal which I will start on May 03 my last day of work. I will commit to only a month at a time with hopes of capturing my first year of retirement. I was in Florida when the rockets. I was there and they did 3 of them in that week. My kids love it was there first time to see it. We stay in Melbourne Florida. We enjoy it so much. Love the weather and the beaches. We when to one beach a day. Too bad I am back to Chicago cold weather. Have an amazing day. Thanks for the video

Aww thanks 😊 My daughter is no longer a teacher, she had the opportunity to work at the same utility plant as her brother and she took it. Our kids are fourth generation out at the plant, my husband worked out there 30+ years. His parents also worked out there. There is a sister plant up here, so she is up here for now. Teaching just wasn’t cutting it for her as far as living expenses, plus it was mentally taxing what with dealing with administration, “special” parents and basically working 27/7 for minimal pay. She is so much happier now, and that makes us happy. Hope you are doing well, I’ve missed filming so much! Be well 🕊️
@NeverHopelessbyElizabeth Sad to see teaching has the same issues across the pond and retention is bad :( I love it for the kids but understand why many don't stick at it. Wishing her (and you!) all the best xxx 🥰🥰
@@journalwithdolly It really is a shame, she did enjoy teaching the kiddos, but ultimately she could never afford living on her own 😢 She even took on extra jobs at work to supplement (substitute coordinator and tutoring 5 days) plus she had no medical insurance or retirement; it was a very small private school. Now she doesn’t have to deal with parents texting her at 2am on a Sunday 😳 which never should have been allowed, but sadly it was. She rather enjoys putting in her time and then going home without having to work another 4-6 hours.
love your journals through the years i hope that you can get back to journaling when you can and missed you on UA-cam i love collecting things for my journal like i been trying to put all that i can in my journal. ha i may have collected a lot i need to print pictures out and iam behind on the weekend since we celebrated my aunt 70s birthday i have some business cards to put in there and iam behind writing about it i hope to print out pictures soon. i hardly like throwing things away and figure out how to use them in my journal
