    You might not love them, but I am really happy with the choices OnePlus made this year with the OnePlus 11!

    I recently picked this phone up. Loving it.
    Here are my thoughts:
    **Battery life - getting 2 days + as a light to medium user. Best thing about the phone in my opinion.
    **Performance - Thing is lightning fast. Nothing it can't do.
    **Charging - 100w charging is too insane. Freaks me out. I've kept the 30w charger from my OnePlus 8 Pro and that's more than enough for now. Will keep the 100w charger for desperate times.
    **Form Factor - Easy to hold. Glad I went with this over the Galaxy S23 Ultra. I love how the screen isn't as rounded around the edges as the 8 pro. Makes the phone a little bit wider and I don't get any more accidental touches. I agree, phone looks and feels solid. I'm loving the form factor and camera design.
    **Oxygen OS - I've been using Nova launcher for a number of years now but decided to give Oxygen OS a go. It's okay. Does what I need it to do. Love the ability to expand folders and select apps from within the folders.
    **Weight - Weirdly the phone feels a lot heavier than the 8 pro I just had, despite only being 6 grams heavier. I think it's the weight of the camera at the top of the phone causing the heaviness.
    Good phone, enjoying it heaps.
    Oh and the official black bumper sandstone case is great. Love the grippy, textural feel of it. Good protection for the back, sides and front. It raises the phone above surface level so you can put it flat down on face. Also evens out the camera bump so it lays flat on its back. I think this case is going to last for a long time.

      Lost my phone recently but am thinking of upgrading from my OnePlus 7Pro to the OP 11. Haven't seen anyone else anywhere comment on being a Nova launcher user so i'd probably be using that still and i could care less for wireless charging which seems to be a big problem for most people. You might have swayed me into buying.

      @@CrystalNinja07 hey I'm on a similar boat, still rocking my 8 Pro but been back in the smartphone market cause my lock/power button gave out and living with it has been a pain lol
      Would you say the jump from 8 Pro to 11 has been worth it?

    • @CrystalNinja07
      @CrystalNinja07 Рік тому +1

      @@blues_721 it does everything the 8 pro does, but just a lot better. Best improvements are no lag when camera app launches. And slightly wider screen/better form factor. And double the battery life. If those things are important to you, then you should upgrade.

    Wait until you scroll on the Moto Edge Plus 2023. I didnt think Id be able to tell the difference between 144hz and 165 hz but the scrolling that was excellent on the Edge 2022 144hz is even better on the Edge Plus 2023. Zero stutter, fading of text while scrolling.

    When I see so many Android smartphones this year with 8 Gen 2 and 8+ Gen 1 at prices between $500-$700, and I know that by next year they will be around $300-$500 in 2nd hand or even new, I wonder how manufacturers will sell their future mid-range, and especially their future high-end 🤔, seriously, it's going to be really hot 🔥 for them 😅

    I'm glad you made that comment about not every phone has to compete and have all these features because some reviewers give the impression that you got to have certain features in order for phone to be successful like I'm using the OnePlus 10 t and it got heavily criticized because it didn't have an alert slider and some other things that were missing but at the same time this phone charges really fast software is really decent don't have too many complaints you can compromise and sell excellent products. I've heard one say oh it doesn't have a hybrid fresh rate I'm not buying that phone it's terrible old it doesn't have this like the Ultras in the folds the iPhones have

    This is a phone made for certain people and i am 1. Love fastest processor with 1ygb ram, 256 gb space, almost clean google, and charges in less than 30 mins. Also, compared camera to iphone ,s23,pixel7, almost the same, better or worse in some situations. Very comparable

    I've been editing vids on my OP 7T up until my upgrade to the 11 recently and it worked great. My 7T was a workhorse and so far, I'm loving the 11. I'm also running the 8T for my second line.

      @@BROADBANNED I'll be honest, not noticing a huge difference between my 11 and 7T. I would still be using it if my work did not require the latest OS in order to have my work apps on my phone. This phone looks pretty good. Does super fast charging wear the battery down sooner?

    • @StevealiciousTech
      @StevealiciousTech  Рік тому +3

      There are settings and limiters in software you can put on if you're worried about it, but fast charging has been around, especially in overseas phones for a while now, I wouldn't worry too much about it. But you can turn down the charging speeds if you are charging overnight to preserve the battery life.

    • @terrancecloverfield6791
      @terrancecloverfield6791 Рік тому +1

      They try their best to mitigate battery wear. But reality is that temperatures will elevate to around 42°C under ambient temperatures of 23°C during its charging, whereas regular charging hovers around 32°C.
      If you're getting such convenience of charging full in 22 min, isn't that worth the additional wear? That charging speed is at least 3x faster than standard fast charging anywhere else.

    So I'm a little late to the 1+ show, as I was on the LG band wagon, from the LG G4 to the G8, after that jumped to 1+. I had the 9pro, but it was only filled up to 256 GB, that took over 1 .5 years to fill up. Passed on the 10 models cause they were trash, but with the 1+ 11, how is the storage?? Can anyone, give some context, or feedback? I know the phone has been out for quite some time now... about 3-4 months...
