They might also be mixed with later Europeans. There are many possibilities, but the connection is not just a coincidence.

Feels like this story is just being regurgitated based on other videos in UA-cam i.e without any research. First off - The story of Ahiravan/Mahiravan has no mention in Valmiki Ramayan, which for all practical purposes is the original source of the epic. 2. Patal lok cannot be on earth. It has to be a separate realm of its own. Possibly either somewhere more near the core of the earth or in a separate solar system of its own. For sure, American continent is not patal lok. Let’s say for argument sake if South America was patal, what about atal, vital, sutal, talatal, rasatal? Maybe we name every country in the west as each of the above 7 lokas? 😅 3.
