Loved watching this. Used to Live at 16 Woodlawn before moving to 17 Thistlewood crescent before eventually moving to England in 1978 Was in Belfast last year so went to visit my old haunts for first time in 38 years. The shops with the flats above it are obviously no longer there which i was a bit sad about as still remember going to the newsagents to get my comic every Saturday. I think i was called Bells. Spoke to a local resident who said they were flattened because the flats attracted a lot of Drug users. If anyone else can give me an idea when the shops were flattened i would be grateful.
Gary Nolan Don't remember exactly when they were demolished but it must be 5 or 6 years ago they also knocked down the other block of flats on the belfast near Garden Village.
Thats a shame. I remember when i live at Thistlewood crescent there was large amounts of wasteland called "The Muck hills" When i visited last year they had built all on this land. You been where you are long?
I went to St Josephs and remember the Greystone shops which when i was there had a roof which i know is not on there anymore. I you drive up the hill with the shops on your right just as you get to that mini roundabout my old house is the row straight in front of you and the last on the right. Don't suppose you remember Mr and Mrs Nolan?
Again i have been transported!!!! thank you very much/ the alignment was very good!!!

When was Greenvale built
The Deer Park was pulled down years ago.
That always makes me really sad for some reason. Used to go for food and functions and my older siblings went to the night club.
