@@Chicken-Wangs An A rating from BBB doesn't mean much, but when you're being investigated by them, you have multiple shops with F ratings, 1-2 star reviews on trustpilot, and false advertising about "Leather, No Bulls**t", there's obviously a problem.

This is something I always think about.
So, in 2012 I got very lucky and created a profitable business as I saw a big trend coming. I was making about 20k profit per month. The last thing on my mind was making a course about it..

@WP with Tom Yeah, I feel like many of these ‘gurus’ were able to exploit a rare chance they got in the market and once this source of income dried up, they turned to selling courses about this experience.
They pretty much act like they were able to make so much money because of some special Information that only they know about, but its likely they were only able to have a bit of success due to being first or not having too much competition.
The last thing wealthy people do is “create courses” . Just keep that in mind.
If you think they do, then my advice is to wait for bill gate’s course.

These people are already hand picked by their rich mentors and definitely no buying/selling of courses but they would most probably already or going to be partners of their mentees business.

my husband and i almost bought his $2,000 course. we were sooo enthralled by his videos and eloquence. we literally had our credit card out and started typing the numbers in. then suddenly we snapped out of it and were like “what are we doing??? “ THANK GOD we didn’t give him our money! my gosh!

I was talking to Kevin on instagram and then I asked him what he had to say about all this and he straight up blocked me 😂😂. I thought he was going to lie and play it off at least a little bit. Glad I didn’t pay for anything.
This is 90% of these “e-commerce dropshipping” gurus out there. Most of these guys either have little to no actual e-commerce experience. They see a tad bit of success in this space and then close up shop to sell information because it’s easier to make money from affiliate Shopify links, UA-cam ad monetization and courses than it is to actually run a business which is something most of them don’t know how to do! Sad part is he had great brand identity he just chose to do bad business and lie to people and that is someone who shouldn’t be teaching anything! Once again excellent video Coffeezilla!
I'm sure many of them had a lot of success several years ago. But now the market is grossly oversaturated and their business is done. So they teach you how they USED to make money, which no longer works.
The timeless truth is that someone who is so successful at what they do will not have time (or any motivation) to teach a future competitor.

Every young guru: i dropped out of college $300 in my bank account..now im millionaire buy my course..or a year ago i was cleaning windows and now im travelling around the globe
Every other guru: if you are not investing you are losing so invest in my course and your life will change before your eyes..
In 2 years I should be hitting my 1 million mark. And all my content is free FYI but people still pay for my service and use my business because I tell them UPFRONT. If you want someone to follow , follow garyvee. I have so much respect for him. He offers free content for everyone but also has a business called vaynermedia in which is a marketing company that gives you the pricing up front without any of those clickfunnels crap. Back to my business I offer free content and give value to my products in which I believe that if I was a customer should be charge as well. Because of this, I have loyal customers. So these gurus bother me for charging people so much money for something that they pre recorded. I’m smart enough not to buy into. Fun fact , i hacked into one of the gurus $3000 lessons, (studying to be an a computer engineer) and it was not worth $3000. I could basically find this in 3 books at Barnes and Nobel and read them in 1 months. But can you imagine who bought it? That is insane. To these gurus it is easy money. But if you really want to be a good mentor to your students, first of all you should NEVER charge so much that their whole saving can be taken away. Please build your business with integrity ! Ughhhh. Also FYI stay in school, you can be a millionaire and be educated 😊
Besides Tai Lopez I know pretty much all gurus only from your videos and it’s crazy. They make it seem like everyone can get rich. Not by buying their course but instead by dropping all morals and becoming a fake guru. I really wonder how easy it actually is to make money like this. Before finding your channel I would have never thought that people actually fall for stuff like fake timers on websites and stuff but wow. I guess my question is how many fake gurus are out there that make no money?
Not everyone can be rich. Not because they don’t have potential, but because not many people work on themselves as they should be.
Their courses.. that’s just a marketing. If you don’t buy this you will regret it because it is the best oportunity blahblahblah..

@@gilscharf Most of them are raking in the money, as it gets saturated its less so, but people buy emotionally and there will always be people out there in desperate or greedy times thinking they can buy a magic pill for $5k. Same reason things like poker are still profitable, or selling $700 shoes to a kid in the projects, or a set of $3000 rims to the kid in a civic, or a watch for $50k to the bankers, people are fucking stupid and buy things that they think will make them happier and make their life better. Life is pain and suffering and if they think buying something will make it less so, they will.

What makes me so angry about these scammers is the fact that UA-cam does absolutely nothing but give them a platform to scam people. UA-cam needs to stop worrying so much about politics and actually worry about individuals and entities that are ruining peoples livelihood.

I wish this video was enough for everyone to stop falling for these scams. I've spent five years in digital marketing and sales, and I have learned a lot of hard lessons through it:
There's no quick cheat out of hard work and sweat in a business. Those who really make money on e-commerce work on their website every day, find new inventory, manage their customer base, control quality, focus on multichannel approaches, and take months to execute master marketing programs (not to mention the business research required!!) I've sat in the board room of companies like Amer Sports, and have seen what goes into making e-commerce work. The people who sell get-rich-work-less schemes are almost exclusively liars. They appeal to emotion and provide no meat to their message, no data, no analytics, just 'mad results'.

the course might still have the basic things like how to set up your store, domain, tracking, ads account, etc. but thats mostly free information, you should still check it out and see if it helps you. its cool as long as you didn't PAY for it. THEN instead of selling fake scammy products you focus on trying to sell something legit and still profitable.

I just found you, Coffeezilla. Great work you are doing. Some years ago I ordered a custom made jewelry from an online scammer. As soon as I paid with my credit card, I never heard from him again. His online page had a "supposed store/shop" in Colorado. I found him in FB after some sleuthing and told him I was going to chase him all the way to hell if I had to, and he better have enough money for a good lawyer. I instantly got my refund.
