If the lawmakers would actually hold these people accountable this stuff would go way down
Keep the car, fair trade
He grabbed his so fast that the guy didn't even leave yet. Why don't they use that energy to run a marathon instead of stealing
Hey, thanks for the car!
The fact that the thief was waiting during both robberies and stole very expensive items makes me suspect these were inside jobs.
I remember getting my first job in retail at 17 and the training video I watched on the first day said most retail thefts are committed by employees. Less than four months on the job, I watched the assistant manager walk out in handcuffs after the manager realized she was running a refund scam with some of her relatives. She would ring up an item for about 10% of the actual cost (they paid $5 for $50 work boots) then her relative would return the purchase a few days later for a full refund (Payless Shoes didn’t require receipts for refunds back in the 90’s). She would then split the profits with them. My boss said she ring up about $8K worth of shoes for only $800 for about a year.
I worked for Payless all thru college and during those four years two other managers at different stores stole more than $75k from the deposits.
The thief is getting inside info from fed ex employees. They can also have their packages redirected to a pick up location
All they have to do is follow the delivery trucks. Don’t be silly.
It could also be someone working for Apple in their shipping department giving out the addresses and tracking numbers. You can see when the package is expected to be delivered. Just wait a few minutes for the UPS/FedEx/USPS and you get what you wanted.
Or it could be a fedex employee, it literally says what’s being shipped and the address…..
@@LadieKadie No they are targeting high end items like electronics, not random packages. It is rare for a thief to steal that quickly after delivery
@@IceLynne You are right. That makes more sense
I think that some are connected to the delivery driver as well.
Drivers don't know what is inside a box but the person handling the shipping manifests from an electronics distributor does.
@@rooster1012 but how is the thief going to know which truck the package is on? I sure am glad we have UA-cam theft prevention experts kind of like we have political analyst experts and all kinds of experts on UA-cam. I'm learning so much!😅
The driver looked surprised when a theif stole it from under his nose.
This is an inside Job
What are you even talking about??
All the thief has to do is follow a delivery truck for a quick grab. It's not rocket surgery.😅
@@desertodavidIt's the same as people who attempt to scam insurance companies with the fake accidents that are contrived between the parties. I reckon People & Law enforcement have lost their ability to use common sensen cause it's not hard to see that technology/AI have made the culture for theft & scamming prevalent.
Sounds like the thief has someone on the inside with the delivery service telling him hey steal this package as it is a $1,500.00 gadget & not a $10. package of underwear. Shalom
Why did you finish that off with Shalom? Are you implying something antisemitic or something?
@@GeorgeWashingtonLaserMusket WTF is anitsemitic about using Shalom? Are you mocking the US by using the name George Washington? Shalom or Asalam Aleykum if ya prefer.
Thats a real problem with only having a camera with a company that expects a monthly payout...or else... like wtf, just gi back to standalone cameras
Great reporting. Thieves are getting a hold of driver’s route manifest or packing lists discarded at the jobsite. Stay alert everyone..
"The reason I couldn't catch him was the sandals I was wearing" lol
That part 😂 Shoulda gave em a number 2 lead pencil ✏️
Go barefoot, get longer legs.....
Can’t catch a snail with that boiler
We have asked for signature but - they never rang the door bell or knocked - and still left something! So FedX how do we make them get a signature?
Sounds like they're to blame if anything goes missing if they didn't get a signature.
Gee, let’s leave these parcel where anyone walking by can see it.
Yeah so? Nobody in my neighborhood would steal it. Sorry you live in an area that doesn’t support police.
@@user-ts7ns7bt2v Has nothing to do with the police, I did this job for 31 years and later worked with the police.
@@user-ts7ns7bt2v My guess is, neighbors are not the ones taking them . Strange you assume I live in an area that “doesn’t support the police.”
@@trac-ken by your statement leave package where anyone can see it? Called the stoop or gasp the mailbox. Ya know everybody has one. So in high trust society, community it’s not an issue. But in low trust and zero consequence one. Well can’t have nice things
@@user-ts7ns7bt2v My post was sarcasm. packages left on the stoop should be placed out of sight from the street. Doesn’t take any extra effort. Mail boxes are off limits except for the post office.
Just climb in the back seat and wait for Tyrone to come back for it.
Rewatch that part, looks more like a Chad to me.
People literally drive around every day in my neighborhood following delivery trucks. I haven't been able to have anything delivered to my home for a couple years.
guns are legal in uhmerica.
It’s your fault stop watching Maddow lol. What you want cops to hurt the thieves. Too bad 😂
I bought a dozen security cams and made a big show of installing them one by one that entire day, and overnight my packages stopped getting stolen. Go figure.
@@warehousejo007why do you talk like a creep.
@@user-ts7ns7bt2vand why do you talk like a creep
Since the police have the vehicle information of the getaway car, why has an arrest not been made?
Car was stolen too?
@@ThatOpalGuy You don't black out the license plate and VIN if you steal the car...
The delivery driver is informing the thieves when and where to go. Police need to start investigating the delivery drivers as well.
Choice #1: Get your stuff stolen.
Choice #2: Fight back and go to prison.
Choice #3: ?
Not in Ohio he won't go to prison....
Choice #3 Redirect your packages to a hold location.
@@GaryGoldbaughred state.
They follow the delivery drivers
Well no shit, the coincidence here is that they're making out with electronics valued at thousands instead of an ice tray or underwear. They're getting fed info from someone or somewhere
And "steal" it not "stole" it.... 😂😂
HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂!!! 🎂 🥳
Someone who is packaging the products from the retailer can easily snap pics of the address and tracking number to send to the thieves. Retailers going to have to make rules about leaving phones in lockers when packing these products.
Local cameras, people. None of this subscription cloud cr@p.
I live on almost 3rd world countrie, but even here, every single package is deliveried directly on hand,or they leave a coupon to let you know theres a package that arrived and ready on the post office and how many days we have to go and get it!Leave stuff @ dor step its just stupid and wreckless!!!
Why would they have something Soo expensive delivered? Is this neighborhood in the middle of nowhere?
I do it all the time at my house no one ever steals around my neighborhood.
Serves you all right for having rubbish delivery drivers that never hand you the packages, in the UK all our delivery drivers knock on our doors and hand us our packages not leave them on the ground
Appears FedEx has some pirates from inside their house.
Its almost time to dress in a ghillie suit and hide in the bushes. Charles Bronson style
Inside job-knows what is being dropped off,. Get a locked box that the driver has to lock after package box is placed in it.
This is Not Random. In houston they had 2 losers fighting over the same package. Its was an iphone from ATT they DEFINITELY knew what they were after
I saw a video of a Fed Ex driver dropping a package when TWO porch pirates raced each other to grab it! Amazing!
Description of the suspect?
🦧 I don't know.
Australian, flip flops and ray bans
the usual
First an Apple Watch then an I Pad ???
WHERE did they purchase these items from ???
WHO knew these items were being shipped & WHEN ???
In BOTH incidents it was delivered by FedEx ???
Right...like getting a signature is going to stop or deter criminals from running up and grabbing it.
20 some years ago we had our home scheduled to be wired for a burglar alarm system. The day before the install someone broke in our patio door and robbed us of many items not replaceable, like grandpa's pocket watch, etc. Well they got a lot of stuff but the equipment for the burglar alarm install was let untouched in the laundry room. Inside story, like these robberies.
😂 dude rubbed his belly saying I could have caught him if Inhad tennis shoes on......no sir.
INSIDE JOBS INFORMATION GIVEN FROM THE ADDRESS CLERK FOR THE DELIVERY COMPANY!
There's NO shortage of thieves "hanging around" nice neighborhoods, watching for deliveries so they can grab packages and run. 😡
How do they know what's being delivered!!
Inside job from the delivery company
I think it leaking from the store who shipped. 🤣🤣
@@khmbodia1972 why is everything about this funny to you?
Amazon had a nasty habit of putting a photo of batteries on boxes. That tells a thief it’s got electronics in it.
@@anonperson4597 The dude knew what was being delivered before it was delivered how else would he have been RIGHT there. It isn't difficult for criminals to recruit poorly paid call center employee's to provide them with information on where the good stuff is, that information is then sold to criminals; it's all part of the modern black market economy.
"Here's a list of shipping ID's that'll have iPads. Here's one for iPhones, etc"
They have lockable drop boxes you can place on your porch for this purpose, but they can be unsightly and can only handle packages up to a certain size.
Unfortunately, much of what consumers purchase is no longer local, so that is not a real solution either.
They are following the delivery truck. When the driver see someone following him he needs to call the police so they can catch them. They could also have fake packages that weight a little bit and if they see someone following then leave the fake and once u see them leave u hide the real package and call the home owner and tell them where the package is
are you on drugs?
Ya that is not happening. Delivery drivers are tracked to the second and not even given restroom breaks.
@@paulmfannin The thieves are following the delivery trucks u just saw him grab the box right after he set it down and took a picture. That's the easiest way to see where packages are dropped off. They going to waste there time driving around looking for boxes. Two cars and they could get every package
Damn that’s crazy, someone had to have gotten ahold of FedEx logistics or are in their data. the amount of targeted package drops of high end electronics is suspicious af
Can't believe how brazen these guys are.
I stopped all thieves by simply renting a mailbox at my local UPS Store and using that address as much as ship to address. Protect yourself as the cops refuse to do anything substantial over these crimes.
Having to pay money to rent a box not to mention the additional time and fuel expense to retrieve items at said box just seems wrong. One should feel safe in their homes and not have trash come on your property and steal stuff.
Hey smarty pants how can a cop do much about this at all? Nobody seems to be able to do much about it. They've got a lot bigger problems than you. Quit being so ugly to the police. Without them crime would be a million times worse. It's gotten so bad because of all the people talking bad about police and wanting to defund the police and on and on. Quit being rude.
This can be a great advertisement video for Fedex:
We don't give a Fuck! Fedex😅
Thieves know that no one will catch them and If got caught no one is going to punish them.
I always have my packages delivered to my work..
Pretty hard to run with that basketball under his shirt too.
That thief was lanky, tall, and young. Sorry my man, but there's no way an overweight 60 year old is keeping up.
They didn't show the perp or can't you hear/see? They said their camera wasn't recording.
sure Jan. lol?
Pretty sure that man had other problems than having on sandals .
Anybody RUNS up my driveway..you carried off property
This is so sad.
Encourage residents to have a lockbox for deliveries. Not full-proof, but raises the bar. Plus, porch theft should be a felony. Also, car theft should be taken more seriously, since that often leads to other crimes. It's notable where many of these crimes happen and don't. Voting matters. Tough on crime DAs improve quality of life for law abiding residents.
"The iPad is being replaced by the company it was purchased from."
Was that easier than saying Apple? It's not a secret.
Someone in the logistics chain is setting these up
Be careful, I picked 'sign on delivery,' the driver delivered it, didnt wait for my signature. Fi ally I got a PO Box
Not sure if Fedex does signatures anymore. You can have it delivered to a pickup location like a Fedex store. You can also file insurance claim with the credit card company.
Someone who works at FedEx who has the manifest is alerting their friends.
It's more likely it's either the online retail outlet or Apple but I'd investigate everyone. FedEx, Apple, Amazon, etc; everyone involved in the sale should be audited, see who accessed what data if it was done internationally we really need to outlaw foreign customer service. It'd make people happier and the only downside would be corporations have to pay an American. Or we can allow foreign customer support but only in nations with a extradition treaty.
I am sick of delivery drivers not knocking & checking for a person at home B4 laying pckgs down!
Kyle, next time do you reporting in the daytime?
There was 2 packages sitting there and seem he already knew which box he need to grab it. 🤣
Fedex should be looked at they are not the same as they once were.
Facts.
FedEx contracts out their deliveries to companies that have vehicles painted to represent FedEx but the employees don't actually work for FedEx. So whoever has the FedEx contract in your area is responsible for service issues.
yall got snakes in the company
Sad thing is most of us are ordering stuff no one would want. Unless they want wart freeze.
I have a f i e t camera and it records everything so I can look at it anytime I want to and it's free.
Maybe ups and the post office should not leave packages lying around.
Here's what I think. That's a lot of money left wide open on your porch. We live in a world of thieves. Why not put a permanent lock box on your porch to drop package in. ?
How many hours do you think we have before they start jumping delivery drivers???
Knock on the door for deliveries...
Insure your packages and require signatures.
Signing for packages doesn't help, I've had deliverers forge it just to make the delivery faster.
I'm too suspicious of the delivery person.
Why this shit only happening to FedEX packages? I know people steal packages from other mail carriers, but they do not arrive the same time as the delivery driver and they steal the packages hours after being delivered. This is obviously a security issue with FedEX and information being leaked out when the delivery arrives. Otherwise, how they know?
They had better keep the car forever!!!!!!!
These bums follow the trucks. It's so pathetic they have gas to drive around but not get a job.
This is why more home owners should apply the 2nd amendment .
But they were "caught"... they "caught" them. You were supposed to excitedly put that in the title... Package these were "caught". Caught "ON CAMERA"... woo woo.
Its called a hook up at amazon/fed ex/ups that can give tracking numbers to their theif friends who, funnily enough, belong to the same demographic
could also be in the shipping department of Apple.
Everyone knows the valuable packages like iPhone and tablets are being primarily shipped by Fedex. So the just follow around the FedEx driver.
I feel violated that the majority of folks in that state voted for this nonsense ! 😐 In my opinion , The 19th amendment needs to be revisited. 🤔 Too many folk nowadays lack the discernment to voted in a responsible way . 😶🌫️
You cant outrun a bullit.
It’s time to put lock boxes on your porch that can be locked !
HURRY UP EAST COAST IT'S A CENTRIFUGE
they target packages with the battery and fragile stckers.
Porch thieving is big business. Maybe FBI should get involved 🤔
Working together I would suspect
I have a good idea, go to the shop and buy it!
Sometimes it's not in stock so it must get shipped. I have a good idea, use your brain.
0:34 why are we filming at night
Her and her husband need to get in shape. My goodness
EAST COAST IT'S A CENTRIFUGE
The delivery driver might be the reason
Also why have a camera that doesn't work , thats not smart 😅😅😅
Usual suspects
he's white lol
FEDEX drivers are lazy, they leave packages out in the open when I had a 4'x8' foot porch wall they could have hid packages behind. FEDEX drivers dont knock on doors as it might hurt their knuckles or hand causing a W/C claim.
If they drove to the store and bought that birthday gift, this would have not happened. I am just saying. I don't use Amazon or order anything online. I go to the store. I know. Crazy, right?
Thats kind of stupid to say considering not everything can be bought in store but sure, your logic applies to EVERYTHING.
@@bryancartagena3286 You know... before Amazon, if it wasn't available in your local store, you buy something else.
Hahaha he lost his car.
Shame to say its not even safe to get package's delivered to your home .
It is if you live down a mile long dirt road in the mountains. Nobody is gonna follow our delivery people! 😂
Just one question: WHY TF ARE YOU LEAVING PACKAGES OUT IN THE OPEN ON PEOPLE'S PORCHES IN THE FIRST PLACE???
If they're not home to accept the package, leave a note that says 'Bring ID to the warehouse to pick up your package"
IS THIS ROCKET SCIENCE? THIS SHOULDN'T EVEN BE A THING.
Why shouldn't it be a thing why do you think you know all the answers? I get things delivered to my home all the time and never have an issue. I don't want to have to go out in my car in the heat and put wear tear and gas when I can have it delivered to my home.
Yeah it's not good having a package stolen. But "I feel like I've been violated" stop being so fricking dramatic. It wasn't taken from inside your home. Yes someone stole from you, something that hadn't got into your possession yet.
Welcome to america
There are always people following fedex trucks and taking what they drop off. For some reason fedex tends to deliver the good stuff.
