For reference I take a size 9US or 40EU in almost every shoe. I do take a size 8US in UGG’s though because I don't wear socks with them.

I personally wear anything from EU mens 42-43 (US 9/UK8) depending on the brand, and when I asked the sales associate in one of our Luxury malls here in Oslo, captial city of Norway, as she had them her self, she said that moon boots are supposed to fit tight as they are huge and clunky and because you can’t tie them or tighten as with regular shoes that comes with laces, it’s important for them to fit snug when you walk. Also because they are designed for snow and ice and not to walk on regular asphalt or concrete which will only wear them down faster, especially if you drag your feet, and not lift the foot. I didn’t have the time to try any on, but she said even though 42, I may even be able to fit the smallest 39/41 as 42/44 seems way to big in my head… my bf is a 43, and he would probably fit that sizing, but your best bet is to try on in store for sure.

I’m a size us 10 in women’s. I ordered a 42 44 it was fine at first it had some room. But after a while the foam expanded(more space) and became too roomy

Can you try the Michael Kors Zelda boot? I really want the Sherpa Moon and boots but they don’t sell them in my size because I’m a size 10 woman and when I tried the largest size available in store my toes were curled. The Zelda boot looks like a good alternative but I’m wondering if it’s warm and how cute it looks.

Should I buy Moon boots low in size 36-38 ? Or are they gonna be super tight ? I don’t mind if they are a little tight though

Thank you! I bought the same size as you and I'm a size 10 US. It fits tight, I'm thinking of returning it. But you said that it loosens up. I feel like 42/44 would be too big. I don't know....also, I can't slip my foot into it, like you did in the video....
I think if I was one size bigger (a size 10us) I would definitely have to size up, I feel they fit me just perfect but I wouldn’t want them any smaller
I talked to the sale associate here in Oslo Norway looking at moon boots and she said you want them as tight as possible as they will loosen. She said some even got away with wearing the smallest like size 39 EU, and I’m a mens EU 42 (mens US 9/UK 8).

Hi thank you for this video! I just got some moon boots I’m a size 8.5 US sometimes 9 in running shoes and my moon boots feel a bit snug but because they expand I’m not sure if I should keep them or return for a bigger size?
What size did you get? If you got the same as I did I would keep them they are meant to feel really snug.

They do make you taller
Im really sad cuz im 40 or 41 ALWAYS and i bought the high ones in the size 39-41 and they are literally so big it's hard to walk :(

I use those fuzzy thick, large, house footie socks. It fills the extra space really well.
I normally wear a size 9 US and bought the 39/41. My toe was at the very edge of the boot I exchanged it for the 42/44 and I have a little room but now I’m questioning if I should’ve kept the other one :( thoughts?
They are supposed to have a very secure fit because they mould to your feet. I am the same size as you and I feel the 39/41 was good for me. From their website it says this :"The foam lining moulds to the shape of your foot

You have to get the larger size they fit small
Had some moon boots last year. I love the look of them, but the bottom wears down very quickly
Because you’re not supposed to wear them on concrete or asphalt. They are for snow and ice. Even asked the sale associate and she said the same that moon boots are not meant for roads as they will wear the back of the heel very quickly, but depends if you actually lift your feet or drag them. Not an issue if you walk properly.

honestly do not understand….i‘ve bought the same but in green….and my size is 39 European…..i‘ve got 39 - 41. They are so big for me….during the walk my heel/foot always going up. Very strange feeling. Definitely for 39 European….39 - 41 are huge
