I love both but I honestly wear my Uggs more often. Maybe because they go with so much, or maybe because they are a bit more casual/everyday shoes compared to a more bold moon boot? That being said, I live somewhere where it doesn’t really snow. Uggs aren’t the best in super snowy/salty conditions since they’re more delicate. So, if I’m heading somewhere colder or to the mountains the moon boots it is! The nylon/vinyl feels a lot more durable and water-resistant. Hope that helps! I bought the moon boots last year and then the Uggs this year to justify both over time 😆
NOTE ABOUT SIZING :The SITE says to "in doubt SIZE BIGGER". BUT l am a size US 7.5 (thus a 38 EU), this putting me on the brink of size 35/38 and 39/41. THE SMALLEST SIZE FITS ME PERFECTLY, not tight, so in doubt, if you are a true 7.5 (not a tight 7.5) and below do NOT do as they say and size up: STICK WITH SMALLER.. NOTE ABOUT SNOW GOING IN: wear leg warmer of the same color they just go unnoticed and fill the gap. ABOUT PRICE (and shipping): I payed.500$ (all included) for tall Icon Faux Fur: they came in 4 days and got dropped in my hands! In between, I spoke to them on the phone about return (nervous about size) and they looked at "my shipment method" (which I didn't pick, automatic over 500$) and, for returns, they come and pick them up at home! So I think the high prices include some unwritten advantages, that if you picked a cheaper model then added shipping would add up to the same. IDK for sure but good experience.

Do any of the styles have aa wedge, or a platform? I read somewhere that the Protech has a one-inch heel, but just looking at them, it looks to me like the icon might have a bit more height to it. Thank you!

I haven't found it to be! I don't really think mine have gotten dirty at all though, since the vinyl black part is more what would get dirt etc. on it. Hope that helps and thanks so much for watching!

I’ve worn straight leg pants (like the Aritzia Melinas) with them lots but haven’t tried a flare. I think it would look okay though but probably cover most of the boots!
Are the labels in the shoes on the inside or outside, when you wear them? I am struggling which shoe is the right or left one and the only not symmetrical thing I see are these labels
Hi I’m so sorry I thought I replied to your comment already! The boots come exactly the same (other than the labels I guess) so you just get to pick which one you want to be which. You’ve probably already discovered this, but they mold to your feet pretty quick and then you’ll be able to tell which is which no problem!
@@SamanthaYonge I discovered, the labels needs to be on the outside. On the first sight, they seem to be similar, but the difference is on the inside above your toes. You can kinda feel, where your big toe takes place 🤗
On the moon boot website I believe it states they can be worn on either foot, but I have mine with the tags on the outside of the foot. Once you wear them a few times your feet will make an impression and it will be easy to tell when you put them on! Thanks for watching and I hope that helps ❤️

You are supposed to wrap the bottom ties around the shaft of the boot. 😉 I got u sis lol. ❤ also, there actually is no right or left, they are the same.

Not sure about the conditions unfortunately - they don’t have any mention about manufacturing on their website except in regards to another style of shoe being made in Italy.

They are sold as being "water resistant" so they aren't waterproof, but so far my feet haven't gotten wet while wearing them - other than a bit of snow coming in the top of the boots if I'm walking in powder.
Idk I want to see the new model of rainboots moon boots beeing reviewed but no one has yet and honestly I don't buy 200$ rainboots before I know they really are worth it ... they look worth it tho but I hope they're warm as well but perhaps not so warm that they'll make you sweat 🤔

uggs become ugly real quiq since they arent waterproof, so i would get the moonboots! (Especially if theres any chance of snow in your area)
for me moon boots are so much better if you buy them in a color that matches much! i personally like moon boots that are short.

Can the ties at the top be tightened more to close the large gap?
You can adjust it a little bit with the ties which helps some but doesn’t totally stop snow from going in or anything!

They’re super comfortable! They’re just foam so very soft and lots of cushion for your foot.
