The White Shirt is symbolic to the relationship and memory between the ex-lovers. Vani is unable to move past the memories and self imposed hurdles to a fresh start. Her Ex uses the shirt as an excuse to keep connected with her and keep himself as a part of her life. The maid washing the clothes tells her that she need to move beyond the stale memories and make a fresh start. Her quick decision to hand over the shirt and refuse the dinner shows her choice to move on. She is no longer stuck to the old memories and cannot be emotionally fragile.

She had taken the shit of another woman in her life and clearly stated, she couldn't forgive him again and again. He might be trying to keep in touch with her by postponing to take the shirt, but she had gotten rid of his love, the moment she said, "I think you should move out".She herself called him up, but not before adding her own scent to the shirt, which would remind him what he had lost and also that there wasn't a U turn possible because if so their relationship would stink ,just as the shirt did.

There is a huge Irony of the story. The lady is in a live in which according to society's morals would be wrong. They might even go the extent of expecting her to be a low character person or call her a hoeore who will probably repeat the act with others. Ironically when her boyfriend did a morally wrong thing she became judgmental about him labeling him as a low moral person who may repeat his acts.
She realized that her relationship was also stinking like the unwashed shirt. She realized it was time to move on. The pure white shirt ( symbolizing their relationship was now tainted and stinky) Her handing over the shirt was a metaphor for breaking free of her relationship with him.

and about that line: she showed him the perfume of a girl who visited their house and her bf did a make out with that girl, he make out with that girl in the same house where he lives with her gf and make love with her gf
+Stream N and the guy who is her bf keeps telling her from starting that his biggest fear is his gf will leave him one day, but irony is that he cheated on her continuously.
Moral of the story : If you are fortunate enough to have someone who loves you more than anything else on this planet than don't lose her no matter what. But if your partner changes, giving priorities to other things or cheat with you, than its high time to move on. Don't hate her and don't complaint. Take your time. Talk to your partner. But if the things don't change, then its better to move on rather than getting frustrated most of the time. You deserve a better one. And you'll get it, Mark my words👍🏻

well this is the question i was waiting for my friend so In such a case all depends on how much u value the person and what he/she means to u. When u love someone u tend to ignore all mistakes even deliberate acts - though whether it is out of forgiveness is questionable. when you are dependent on them for some reason, you obviously have no choice but to accept, forgive and forget. either way your responsibility doesn't finish at merely forgiving him/her u also need to do whatever it takes to help the person improve in this regard but if neither of these is the case it would be best to speak to them let them know one last time that this iss the last time u r accepting this mistake and that if it is repeated after this warning u'll take a drastic step and if even this does not work obviously THE person doesn't need you either. No point forgiving such a person. Just walk away.

In this case shirt wasn't hers, yet she was attached to it even when it was stinking, so she should leave it. If its someone your own and you can refresh the relationship, then it is better to wash the shirt and reuse it. If distances are so wide that the person is a stranger then, return or throw the shirt.

The scent she had been mistaking for love was infact the smell of unfaithfulness. The maid being an outside observer made her realise that. And she moved on.
He is a user of MASTER Manipulation and she knew it the whole time. She just became strong enough to overcome it. I love the transition of her in this and never get bored of watching that process in this. I love the way this was so cleverly filmed and laid out. That is what you call a WEAK man, ignore his surface.

Loved this movie. Guy wanted her back in his life so was pretending that he needed the shirt back but didn't meet the girl saying he is busy which he was not. For days, in the name of shirt, girl was in the memory of their past and slowly getting into the feelings she used to feel for that guy. Apparently, that is what guy wanted to happen. She only realised when the maid said the shirt stinks i.e. their relationship. So, girl maturely ended the relationship completely and moved ahead with her life.
Why did she wear that shirt again after wash?
She wanted to feel that relationship the last time before saying the Final Goodbye!
