Thanks for the upload as it helped me see a pattern with the platforms and enemies (and you taught me a sequence breaking jump that came in handy). I finally got the platinum, but it was absolute hell. And this level is one of my favourites in the game.
took me 45 minutes to beat. thought i went fast the first time but only got sapphire xD.. thanks for the video, it helped me alot as to where to take shortcuts etc.
Did this many times recently. A few days ago, when I first attempted it, I got 1:35 but I didn't really know how to approach it. Yesterday I got 1:12, getting the Sapphire gem but wasn't satisfied at all. Then I managed to get less then 1:08, getting the Gold gem. I still wanted to improve it and the max I could do was 1:06.09 (which is my current best). I'm struggling at 0:47, I don't know how to make that jump to save time. Well done!

Tommy you really had a good chance before me lol ! because i was searching all day for platinum relic on generator room and and nobody uploaded anything except for golds and i almost gave up trying to get the platinum but luckily i didn't ;) + and yeah native fortress was a hard one as well took me also 2 hours or even more than that...
If you wait at the start for the rest of the level to move then once you do the run all the platforms should be ready to jump on and you shouldn't have to wait shaved about 6-8 seconds off my time
VazzyCow nice buddy ! I almost gave up trying to get platinum relic for this level because everytime I reach the end by 4 5 seconds after the platinum time and most of my good runs were ruined because of the last time box with the 2 TNTs I would hit them and fall of the platform that's why in the video when you see me i didn't fall off I've gone panicking and jumping around and I even ignored the last enemy in the level LOL !

Currently I have 21 so only need 5 more and my only concern now is how am i going to handle lights out and jaws of darkness , unless there's even harder level than those -.- and I'm getting them in order as well so my last one was slippery climb which it wasn't as bad as i thought :)
You have the platinum for the lab? Damn that's the hardest one in my opinion, and I uploaded all my platinum relic videos so if you want to check them out and see if it's any helpful it's in my playlist (levels are in order)
I agree. It is weird. I had no problem to get the platinum relic in levels such as Road To Nowhere, Sunset Vista, or Cortex Power ... But this one ... I've got laboriously the gold relic. Vicarious Visions could have made more balanced time trial challenges between the levels. (I stopped at Generator Room so far)
Yes, I think Generator Room is the hardest to platinum in CB1. If you play using d-pad just like me, I think the control is quite glitchy, it can move up or down by itself especially when you get hit. Took me 4 straight hours to platinum it.
This was tough as you need timing but if you wait at the start of the level for a bout 2-3 seconds once you've made it to the platforms they should be there for you to jump on instead of having to wait

After I watched your vid I got 55.86 on the Steam ver cause my route ended up being perfect as far as how the platforms moved. You da man!

After some tries, i stay at 1:00:46. This is frustrating. Even platinum run in The Lab is easier.

i cant even get gold. my best time is 1:15..
