Wow. We’ve had returning villains before, but they were usually brought in for crossover events only. This is the first time we’ve ever had the same main villain for two different seasons and ranger teams. Mind blown.
I realised that. The end of RPM was Scott’s Morpher beeping red. It was the hugest cliffhanger that ended RPM. But then Scott brought his morpher away from the RPM dimension and into this main dimension to fight with series samurai team. Then, Venjix appeared in Super megaforce, attempting to rule this dimension again. Then they gathered all Ranger tech into Battle grid, then Evox/Venjix, was just waiting for the right moment. Plus, Rangers now have the ability to travel to other dimensions that was revealed in Ninja steel. So Evox would of found a way to get to his dimension. Dr K really made a very smart virus.

It always sounded like something for the comics to resolve if they ever got the chance but having continuity to this level is a very welcome change though I think the kiddies seeing this are just very confused but the advent of streaming services can allow them to watch RPM at least so they can experience that last hurrah of the disney era
I had a feeling that sooner or later Venjix was gonna make a reappearance in one form or another. The difficult thing about a villain who is a deadly computer virus, he can be beaten but not completely defeated especially when he can hide himself in nearby technology. That was always the mistake with every generation of Rangers, assuming their enemy is defeated for good but in reality isn't truly dead. All it takes for an enemy to be reborn from the ashes is an opportunity he/she finds. In this case, Nates fiddled with the very RPM Morpher that Venjix was hiding in and saw his chance to rise up and finish what he started. Hope the Ranger can create a strong and effective Antivirus/Malware weapon of sorts bc this virus cannot just be defeated like he was before.
It was good enough for Hasbro to get the they guy who played venjix in RPM to reprise his voice here in now. I wish they did the same with Goldar. Who thinks Goldar Maximums should have been voice by Goldar’s voice actor from MMPR?

I recently rewatched RPM and saw the old school ending that teased "the villain was alive" moment. Loved the Beast Morphers actually used that fo this season.
I can’t believe that a copy of Venjix inside of a cell shift Morpher actually became Evox from Morph-X and Snake DNA. Not to mention that he sounds like Venjix. It's obvious that Venjix copied himself while hacking the Bio-field before his original self was destroyed in Corinth.

The only reason why I gave my original voice a couple of tweaks was because Saban Brands tried to demote me into the same levels as Galvanax and Sledge, two who came before, or after, me. Well it’s the first to have been over a decade, but isn’t the first show to have a main villain crossover. Sledge has been in three power ranger series. Main villain of Dino charge then returned in ninja steel and one last time in beast morphers. The power ranger time force main villain returned in wild force for the crossover to become a good guy, lothor from ninja storm returns in Dino thunder. U get it, this is the first time though to have a main villain to return after 10 years, but that’s not really that big since we have had this before. This is though, the first time we had a main villain of another power ranger show that is also the main villain of another ranger show. Unless zedd was the main villain in power ranger zeo. I don’t know because I didn’t watch Zeo so idk.

The fact that in 2020 this twist not only never leaked, but also the fact that Andrew Laing's anagram wasn't noticed at all is kind of incredible. I haven't seen Beast Morphers yet, but this and the generally good press it's gotten has convinced me to check it out.
Hasbro you are awesome! The way you integrated multiple past storyline into a new one is something we love AND will encorage old and new fans to go back and watch...strengthening the series. Please always do this!
I mean, I half saw it coming. It was a wild fan theory of mine (and others) that they would link the two computer antagonists, but I also thought that there was no way Hasbro would be crazy enough to do it. If this is the level of continuity we can expect out of them, then this is going to be the best era of Power Rangers we've ever had!

Metro Sonic Wasn’t destroyed. His robot body was destroyed. Venjix himself went into Scott's morpher at the end of the final episode because they zoomed into his morpher and the morpher beeped and glowed red.
I feel like this is the right end to the Neo-saban era because each era has 10 years, fox kids was 10 years, the Disney era was 10 years and now Neo-saban has had ten years now. It would make sense that they would end Neo-saban with Venjix because they ended the Disney era with venjix.
Technically speaking, Disney was six years (seven if you count Wild Force although it was still made by MMPR Productions and merely organised by Disney).

Finally finishing Disney's RPM series, it only took 11 years, Disney just canned RPM halfway through with no real resolving story, only for Hasbro to fix it. But then you could bring up the Venjix from Wild Force Forever Red. I noticed that they brought Koraggs voice to do him.

General Venjix was the one for the main dimension. The Venjix Virus was the RPM world's version, so when the Cell Shift Morpher got brought from their world to the main one, the Venjix Virus got brought with it.

I had a feeling, but seeing how Power Rangers has been known to waste perfectly good crossover plots in the past (That means YOU, Super Megaforce!), I really didn't think the writers would have taken advantage of the situation to wrap up this dangling plot. I'm surprised the writers actually recognized an opportunity and they took it and ran with it!
I'm looking at this scene because I was curious how it went. I'm not looking at anything more until the rest of the episodes premiere in America. Also, I kind of wish Evox/Venjix kept the snake-like voice even after the reveal, though speaking like his old self for that single line would've been good.
Now here's my story evox/venjix then takes the control of the morphin grid and then joins forces with all the old villains the rangers then try to stop them but the rangers end up dieing then comes a new season a new ranger team called dino fury and they are gonna stop them for gud....

The fact that in 2020 this twist not only never leaked, but also the fact that Andrew Laing's anagram wasn't noticed at all is kind of incredible. I haven't seen Beast Morphers yet, but this and the generally good press it's gotten has convinced me to check it out.

I mean, I half saw it coming. It was a wild fan theory of mine (and others) that they would link the two computer antagonists, but I also thought that there was no way Hasbro would be crazy enough to do it. If this is the level of continuity we can expect out of them, then this is going to be the best era of Power Rangers we've ever had!

@@Xeno-The-Wanderer Time travel, when in doubt the answer is always time travel. Just go back to before their destruction and grab them with the understanding that it creates a split timeline. Or just pull an SPD and erase their memories so they continue from the timeline as normal. Speaking of SPD we are getting pretty close to 2025 in the main universe ...

Metro Sonic Wasn’t destroyed. His robot body was destroyed. Venjix himself went into Scott's morpher at the end of the final episode because they zoomed into his morpher and the morpher beeped and glowed red.

I feel like this is the right end to the Neo-saban era because each era has 10 years, fox kids was 10 years, the Disney era was 10 years and now Neo-saban has had ten years now. It would make sense that they would end Neo-saban with Venjix because they ended the Disney era with venjix.

Technically speaking, Disney was six years (seven if you count Wild Force although it was still made by MMPR Productions and merely organised by Disney).

Venjix is a constant across the multiverse. No matter the dimension, there's a villain named Venjix. General Venjix was the one for the main dimension. The Venjix Virus was the RPM world's version, so when the Cell Shift Morpher got brought from their world to the main one, the Venjix Virus got brought with it.

I had a feeling, but seeing how Power Rangers has been known to waste perfectly good crossover plots in the past (That means YOU, Super Megaforce!), I really didn't think the writers would have taken advantage of the situation to wrap up this dangling plot. I'm surprised the writers actually recognized an opportunity and they took it and ran with it!

I'm looking at this scene because I was curious how it went. I'm not looking at anything more until the rest of the episodes premiere in America. Also, I kind of wish Evox/Venjix kept the snake-like voice even after the reveal, though speaking like his old self for that single line would've been good.
