This scene is the saddest and most profound I’ve ever seen in any movie. This has moved me and opened my eyes beyond anything I have ever witnessed. Now as that same spirit arises once again even the atheists are concerned that we will descend into the dark ages again. That is entirely possible without a knowledge of God and His Word which is the true light that lights the world.
Luther was a murderer, drunkard and anti-Semite, believed in infant baptism, state church and other Augustinian perversions. Many of his sordid statements and deeds are directly against what Lord Jesus taught us.
Luther accepted the purgatory, indulgences, and other things in his 95 thesis, and even mentioned more than 25, multiple times that there's no salvation outside of the Catholic Church He also used to consider to throw out James, Hebrew, Revelation out of the canon of scripture. No. The Catholic reformation was thanks to people like Ignatius of Loyola, Therese of Avilá, cardinal Bellarmine, popes Paul III and Pius V. Luther was a revolutionary, not a reformer. He spread heresies about priesthood, purgatory or justification while also supporting magisterial 'reformation' wich led to kings talking control over clergy and robbing Church's property.

@SanctioFides Why did Jesus cast out merchants and priests from the temple when they were marketing things needed for sacrifice and other things? Did he judge them? He sure did rebel against normal practice.
This is a very late reply, and I'm not even the person you asked, but I have an answer. They were taking away from the point of being there. People were buying and selling instead of worshiping God, which was Unacceptable. Instead of thinking about worship, they thought about money and other unwanted thoughts.
2:47 it is clearly in the Bible written in the book of Apocalypse the Key of the death has been given to Jesus and him only. Maybe the Roman church believes Peter was the apostolic succession but clearly ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE PEOPLE FROM HELL, also I don't believe in any of their Peter apostolic succession
Because Sunday is the Sabbath for the "Sun God"....they are trying to implement it as mandatory in the U.S. soon....also Christ died on the cross so that we didn't have to go to a priest, bishop, etc, but that we could go directly to him and ask for forgiveness
Martin Luther helped the world. He realized that the whole thoughts of the church at that time were farse. Why do people go to church on Sunday. To respect the resurrection. Did Jesus tell us to change His holy day? No, in fact the 4th Commandment (about the Sabbath) was the only one that started with 'remember'. What of the Second Commandment? Don't Catholics pray to the martyrs and saints? What does the the Bible say?
@@player400_official Like that's any better. Plus that makes no sense why would you ask a dead person to pray for you when they are already up in heaven with God. Praying is for the living and I can only imagine God and the "Saints" shaking their heads in disappointment if they can see what the catholics are doing.
@imromancatholic Romans 4:3 Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness, just as David also speaks of the blessing of the one to whom God counts righteousness apart from works: "Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin."
@music0762 Every religion has aspects of controversy. That's all I'm saying. If each religious group wants respect, their own religion must teach respect towards others.
Yet Evangelicalism has become a shadow of it. We need to cast religion away , the lot of it, and start again. The Word and scripture should be our only guide
It was an Indulgence, basically it was a piece of paper saying that your sins were pardoned if you complete a certain task, that Luther bought thinking it would free his grandfather from Pergatory and allow him to enter Heaven, when he got to the top of the stairs he saw the truth, the men who were suppose to be helping the people were taking advantage of them, by selling what amounted to a scrap of paper for what at the time could've been someone's entire life savings, and for Luther, who was a monk and extremely devout seeing this pretty much shattered his faith.
It didn't shatter his faith, it shattered his respect for the church. He thought he could try and fix it with the 95 theses, but learned that the organization was to corrupt to change and had to be started anew.
"Keys to the Kingdom" God spoke of = "KEY of knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ" Luke 11:52 "Woe to you, lawyers! for YE have TAKEN away the KEY OF KNOWLEDGE YE entered not in yourselves & THEM that were entering in YE hindered" God alone decides whose going to heaven. 1Cor 4:5 Therefore judge *nothing* before the time, UNTIL THE LORD COME who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness & will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: & then shall every man have praise of God.
Matt18:15-18 "If thy brother sin against thee show him his fault btween thee&himALONE if he hear u,u GAIN thy brother if he wont hear take w/thee1or2that by mouth 2or3witnesses everyword maystand.if he wont hear them tell assembly&if assembly he wonthear lethim be a heathen& taxgatherer `For I say whatthings ye bindon earth be bound in heavens & what things ye loose onearth beloosed inheavens. God on Peters authority to "forgive sins" has been GROSSLY misinterpreted Matt 18:22-Then Peter having come near to him, said, `Sir, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him -- till seven times?' JESUS SAITH to him, `I do not say to thee till seven times, but till 70 x7. Matt 18:15-18 below due to space I had to condense the scriptures taken from the Literal Greek Translation. These verses clearly show the PROTOCOL on confession & forgiving = no priest needed.

@imromancatholic Galatians 3:4 Did you suffer so many things in vain if indeed it was in vain? Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith-just as Abraham "believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness"?
but it is possible that god used him as retribution for the human sins that were afflicting the church, the church is sinnless in that Jesus is the head, yet humanity darkness consumed the earthly church.. In the long run though, I believe that luther should had worked inside the church, trying to change it.
Well you can focus on the bad all have. Thank God all Christians are not like that. I will continue to focus on the good work the Catholic Church does for God's people, it's good and holy priests, missionaries, it's kind and loving members, it's charity and devotion to family values and the dignity of the human person from conception to natural death, and it's apostolic proclamation of Christ's loving death and resurrection to a world in desperate need of it. Best of luck saving through division
quite right kooler1027, he should have never broken christ in such a way, if he wanted change he should had continued to work in the church and try to change it from the inside, he just did not want to put that much time into that kind of endevor.
what do you think the 95 theses were!? do you know how many good men were burned at the stake for trying to improve the church from within. Luther did what was necessary when he realized the church was too corrupt to fix. if you think he could have fixed it within then read up on Jan Hus.
@imromancatholic Like wise James says 2:17 "So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." Now if faith is dead then it isn't even faith, hence the "dead" part. 26 "For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead."
Dead faith isn't a non existent faith, a dead corpse ≠ non existent corpse. The whole passage is self-explanatory, it compares faith doesn't work without work, and that's exactly why Luther planned to remove James and said planning to burn it John 6:27 Do not work for the food that disappears, but for the food that remains to eternal life - the food which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has put his seal of approval on him.”
@imromancatholic Galations 2:15 "We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified."
@Hosea22 "But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For youshut the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves" -Jesus Christ
Filmnya ga akurat kak Kakak tau ga, kalau luther pernah pingin buang kitab Wahyu, surat Yakobus, Ibrani karena menentang bid'ah²nya? Dengan perkataan Luther sendiri, dia bilang ingin membakar surat Yakobus, sampe temennya kasih nasihat biar ga ngelakuin itu.
Excellent anime except for the use of the words saved & hell early on which might cause viewers to leave. Suggest: salvation/forgiveness for saved and separation from God for hell. Film, especially animation is where it's at!
@imromancatholic James 2:8 "If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself, " you are doing well. But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors. For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it."
@104936 **"what religion do you you prefer" and he said "to live any religion is good but to die for is the catholic church".** It is indeed very true. I mean, I could behave like a total creep in life and act like a jack rabbit with women and all I could say is HEY, I BELEIVE!! But boy I would come home to the Catholic church should I know my date if death. The last sacrament is beauty for the soul and to God. Well , it doesn't work like that, well all know that
frist of all Jesus said we are all the same in euality, and you are putting a statue of Mary over other people, saying that she is more holy, and second, in the older jewisim if a normal person looked ino the most holy room they would die.
This is SUCH and unbelievable exaggeration! It is almost nauseating! And what is with the villainization of the Dominican order?? The people "liberated" by Luther should feel free enough to pick up a book for goodness sake!
I have read and yeah, I won't claim Catholics are evil like some do. But the church was most certainly corrupt. people did sell trinkets of saints like popcorn at the movies, and they did sell indulgences that would bankrupt the lower class claiming it would free their past decedents. and the prelates were known for visiting the red light district. Luther wasn't the first to notice this, he was just the first to survive long enough to make a difference (unlike Jan Hus).
well if God founded judaism and God and Jesus are both God then what does Catholicism have anything to do with God? The truth is that Jesus pasted on His teaching to the deciples then they wewre the first preachers of christans, and they followed the 7th day to keep it holy, and catholics worship the virgin mary as a statue, and the bible clearl says in the ten commanments, you shall not worship Idols and a statue is the same as a idol
@SanctioFides mostly by the passage by Paul on salvation, salvation is by grace, a gift..saved by faith, and not by woeks""" that shock the Carholic Empire because wuthout that fear tactics, they will lose power and money
and when jesus was crucifided by the jews the curtain ripped in the temple between the holy place and the most holy place and the lamb the a man had escaped, which then ended judaism. so the truth is that God, meaning the trinity surrports 7th day adventists, so just go ahead look it up in the bible!
@imromancatholic Galations 3:1 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified. Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?
Not many movies on the Bible are good this is one. Martin Luther almost seems as if one of the 66 would be his story. Just saying a very important life but a drop of water in an endless sea faceless billions of us
@JPWX10 Luther's goal was reform, not a split. At the time the Church was little more then a joke, people often bought their offices, and used their power to fill their pockets or believed they could do what ever they wanted

He also used to consider to throw out James, Hebrew, Revelation out of the canon of scripture. Surely he was an enlightened person, able to feed sheeps 👍
It's also interesting actually, when being questioned in Rome, he reinstated that he would abandon his beliefs if the Pope tells him to, and Liter believes in Papal supremacy, hd also said in the very same investigation that there's no salvation outside of the communion with the Catholic Church
The Just shall live by faith This is madness. Pass pope's was wicked and still is wicked even today.
Could you please tell me what version this is?
good thing the counter reformation with the help of Saint Teresa of Avila and Ignatius Loyola brought back the Catholic Church and cleanse it
@SanctioFides Why did Jesus cast out merchants and priests from the temple when they were marketing things needed for sacrifice and other things? Did he judge them? He sure did rebel against normal practice.
This is a very late reply, and I'm not even the person you asked, but I have an answer. They were taking away from the point of being there. People were buying and selling instead of worshiping God, which was Unacceptable. Instead of thinking about worship, they thought about money and other unwanted thoughts.
did someone else cried too
2:47 it is clearly in the Bible written in the book of Apocalypse the Key of the death has been given to Jesus and him only. Maybe the Roman church believes Peter was the apostolic succession but clearly ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE PEOPLE FROM HELL, also I don't believe in any of their Peter apostolic succession
There’s a lot wrong with their ideology. Go listen to some of R.C. Sproul’s stuff. He breaks it down well.
will u please upload the whole movie. Thanks
@joanmarfe, there's a black and white film called Martin Luther, which I like more than this one, and which you can see in full at Daily Motion.
Martín Luther was outraged at priests breaking their celibacy vows only to get married himself and break them as well
Because Sunday is the Sabbath for the "Sun God"....they are trying to implement it as mandatory in the U.S. soon....also Christ died on the cross so that we didn't have to go to a priest, bishop, etc, but that we could go directly to him and ask for forgiveness
what film is this?
Martin Luther helped the world. He realized that the whole thoughts of the church at that time were farse.
Why do people go to church on Sunday. To respect the resurrection. Did Jesus tell us to change His holy day? No, in fact the 4th Commandment (about the Sabbath) was the only one that started with 'remember'.
What of the Second Commandment? Don't Catholics pray to the martyrs and saints? What does the the Bible say?
Its always something like ,,Saint Mary pray for us to God”, so technically we ask saints to pray, not pray to saints
@@player400_official Like that's any better. Plus that makes no sense why would you ask a dead person to pray for you when they are already up in heaven with God. Praying is for the living and I can only imagine God and the "Saints" shaking their heads in disappointment if they can see what the catholics are doing.
Very laughable picture of Rome, like a religous carnival....
Who’s here from World History
@imromancatholic Romans 4:3 Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness, just as David also speaks of the blessing of the one to whom God counts righteousness apart from works: "Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven,
and whose sins are covered;
blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin."
They should never had charged money for release of purgatory. Good thing that was changed.
@music0762
Every religion has aspects of controversy. That's all I'm saying. If each religious group wants respect, their own religion must teach respect towards others.
Yet Evangelicalism has become a shadow of it. We need to cast religion away , the lot of it, and start again. The Word and scripture should be our only guide
Why Luther throw the paper? And what represent the paper ?
Did anyone notice how this video was 13 years ago?? 🤣
where can I get the full version of this movie in English?

@calebsda 12, there's a black and white one called Martin Luther, which I think is a LOT better than this one, and which you can see at Daily Motion.
you cant by your way to haven, just accept Jesus into your life, Jesus will give the gift of heaven to anyone who does this
Someone tell me what movie is this?
cool
ryan gosling!
"Keys to the Kingdom" God spoke of = "KEY of knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ" Luke 11:52 "Woe to you, lawyers! for YE have TAKEN away the KEY OF KNOWLEDGE YE entered not in yourselves & THEM that were entering in YE hindered"
God alone decides whose going to heaven. 1Cor 4:5 Therefore judge *nothing* before the time, UNTIL THE LORD COME who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness & will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: & then shall every man have praise of God.
He came to Rome and figured out that it was full of wickedness, that it was the seat of the devil.
John 20:23If of any ye loose the sins they r loosed tothem if of any ye retain they have been retained'
if i am not wrong the head of the baptist was stolen during the sack of Rome in 1527, but i don't know i returned
God on Peters authority to "forgive sins" has been GROSSLY misinterpreted
Matt 18:22-Then Peter having come near to him, said, `Sir, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him -- till seven times?' JESUS SAITH to him, `I do not say to thee till seven times, but till 70 x7.
Matt 18:15-18 below due to space I had to condense the scriptures taken from the Literal Greek Translation. These verses clearly show the PROTOCOL on confession & forgiving = no priest needed.

The Roman Church is Basically the Same .. Now You Buy a Mass Card Instead.
@WorshipInTruth and still is!!!
hi mr camacho. if ur seeing this, cool. Im watching this video because you told me to. if you scroll down a bit to the comment section, you'll see my comment
Yes
but it is possible that god used him as retribution for the human sins that were afflicting the church, the church is sinnless in that Jesus is the head, yet humanity darkness consumed the earthly church.. In the long run though, I believe that luther should had worked inside the church, trying to change it.
yo Mark
Cool
Ask your pastors, they are hiding it. Just like the word trinity, you can't find it there. But the essence is there.
He could of been a prophet
Well you can focus on the bad all have. Thank God all Christians are not like that. I will continue to focus on the good work the Catholic Church does for God's people, it's good and holy priests, missionaries, it's kind and loving members, it's charity and devotion to family values and the dignity of the human person from conception to natural death, and it's apostolic proclamation of Christ's loving death and resurrection to a world in desperate need of it. Best of luck saving through division
not far removed actually.
Who was the man with golden armor ?
The Pope.
The warrior pope Julius II, I believe he was involved in the War of the League of Cambrai at this time.
I agree.
quite right kooler1027, he should have never broken christ in such a way, if he wanted change he should had continued to work in the church and try to change it from the inside, he just did not want to put that much time into that kind of endevor.
what do you think the 95 theses were!?
do you know how many good men were burned at the stake for trying to improve the church from within. Luther did what was necessary when he realized the church was too corrupt to fix.
if you think he could have fixed it within then read up on Jan Hus.
For more of what Luther said/taught copy the following into youtube:
Martin Luther, the Devil and Denominations
This movie rightly got bashed because of its many historical innaccuracies.
@imromancatholic Like wise James says 2:17 "So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."
Now if faith is dead then it isn't even faith, hence the "dead" part.
26 "For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead."
Faith is what saves you
Works without faith are fruitless
Through the holy spirit we receive both faith in Christ and can do good works solely because the holy spirit does them through us.
Dead faith isn't a non existent faith, a dead corpse ≠ non existent corpse. The whole passage is self-explanatory, it compares faith doesn't work without work, and that's exactly why Luther planned to remove James and said planning to burn it
John 6:27 Do not work for the food that disappears, but for the food that remains to eternal life - the food which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has put his seal of approval on him.”
@stvarreguin that nun was his wife genius and he was sorrowful because he made a pledge to celibacy but broke it, obviously, when he married.
For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves"
-Jesus Christ
Mohon maaf bisa videonya di terjemahan dlm bahasa indonesia
Filmnya ga akurat kak
Kakak tau ga, kalau luther pernah pingin buang kitab Wahyu, surat Yakobus, Ibrani karena menentang bid'ah²nya?
Dengan perkataan Luther sendiri, dia bilang ingin membakar surat Yakobus, sampe temennya kasih nasihat biar ga ngelakuin itu.
right
@JS833100
How is it hateful?
Excellent anime except for the use of the words saved & hell early on which might cause viewers to leave. Suggest: salvation/forgiveness for saved and separation from God for hell. Film, especially animation is where it's at!
@imromancatholic James 2:8 "If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself, " you are doing well. But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors. For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it."
every religion is based on mythology
Jesus Christ is in Heaven
@janeym Rome today=HOT. MESS. hellfire pun intended
no there is a purgatory..
The shame of the Roman Catholic Church.
Lutero era il Medioevo, Roma la modernità.
Hey lassie
Back in the day when people actually did penance.
Now everyone thinks it's all fun and games.
God be true and every man a liar
In my Irish catholic opinion this is way overly dramatized.
@104936
**"what religion do you you prefer" and he said "to live any religion is good but to die for is the catholic church".** It is indeed very true. I mean, I could behave like a total creep in life and act like a jack rabbit with women and all I could say is HEY, I BELEIVE!! But boy I would come home to the Catholic church should I know my date if death. The last sacrament is beauty for the soul and to God.
Well , it doesn't work like that, well all know that
Simon Magus
frist of all Jesus said we are all the same in euality, and you are putting a statue of Mary over other people, saying that she is more holy, and second, in the older jewisim if a normal person looked ino the most holy room they would die.
Sad that 400 years later von Staupitz becomes Hitler (same actor) 😂
Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?
dude...
Not many movies on the Bible are good this is one. Martin Luther almost seems as if one of the 66 would be his story. Just saying a very important life but a drop of water in an endless sea faceless billions of us
@JPWX10
Luther's goal was reform, not a split. At the time the Church was little more then a joke, people often bought their offices, and used their power to fill their pockets or believed they could do what ever they wanted
