Andrew Cole yeah they aren’t afraid to spend are they. I know, I have a son and a nephew that both love tractors. We usually go to the agricultural shows to look at them but they are all cancelled! It’s crap
Dan Caulton I know it’s such a shame I live in a nice town and so love being outside with the nice machines and tractors and because my father used to be a farmer he loves showing me all the cool things and tractors.
Not just interesting it was very impressive too, no sign of the implement that no farm should be without though, a weed wiper! maybe another day. Thank you for sharing.👍
Nice kit... the HS on trailer usually means high speed for 50K rated axels. If your ever changing you trailers you should consider Herron H2 or Kane halfpipe. They’re top quality trailers
Never known a farm with so many toppers haha, surprised that you still keep some of the machinery like the overhead bale squeeze and all the toppers when you could get decent money to use on other things but I guess it's a case of getting around to it.
We have a 2011 shelbourne trimmer. Great bit of kit, done a lot of work, had a new pump end of the season but will last few more years yet. Run a 2018 mcconnel as well, that is very nice
Just a sum up because watched the 3 tours. We use some older implements and it works so we use it maintain it and use it! We use new tractors because being on spot but buying a dog's topper to do drive way wouldn't pay for itself ? We have same one as you but we can attach it offset to do council contract so tops the sides road while I hedge cut but not same time because they are controlled from different sides?
That was a good walk around mate really interesting love the ford 3000 that’s smart that is 👍. The new hedge trimmer u was on about the company got a place near to wear I live in Suffolk been to the factory had a right good look around 😉👍
Out of interest, is it more cost effective to own the combine even though it's sitting there idle most of the year than it is to contract out the harvesting each year?
I think buying and selling the combine works out more cost effective but with the way farming is looking in the future, farms are going to be worse off financially and the machines are getting more expensive every time we may switch to hiring. 👍
Good vid... one machine I read at first said "Amazon".and wondered if you got it delivered free with your Prime Membership... the looked again.. "Amazone" the "e" makes the difference 😎
The combine is 2WD, there is NO hydraulic mechanical assist drive to the rear wheels?? Have not watched long, you do not grow corn? Your combine is strictly for small grain?
You don't have a lot of machinery compared to my Husband who has 8 Various Valtra and 4 Fendt a Forage harvester and 2 green and white Combines and all the attachments that go on Tractors! He says you tube and he likes get New ones but has 2 J. C. B like yours but one's bigger then other plus dozen green Trailors for harvesting and 5 or 6 bale Trailors. He said that he has K. V 7 mounted plough and that's all I know really.
Hope you enjoy this video! I forgot to say in the video that the tractor has 600 hours on it and the combine has 900 👍 Thanks for watching! 🙂
I have dm’d you on intstergram about the topper for sale
HS. I think it's high speed?
u got that in 2019 did u not say
Thanks for taking time out of your day to make the video sir. Cant wait for farm two an three.

I agree. There’s a lot of people who love machinery me included, but they don’t have the chance to get near it.
@@dancaulton6280 this guy has a great set up. My little boy loves watching his videos too. Need to take him to a farm when this craps all over.🤞

Andrew Cole your best bet are plowing matches they have lots of tractors and combines and other machinery
Well done bud. Great machines. Can't wait for the other vids
The HS on the Richard Western trailers means high speed.
Not just interesting it was very impressive too, no sign of the implement that no farm should be without though, a weed wiper! maybe another day. Thank you for sharing.👍

Looking forward to farm 2 tour. The Ford is a 1989......nice one
Beautiful tour, thank you. All looks very good. Then it is also pleasant to work with.
Andy could you do a video on all the tractors the farm has owned since you and your dad were around. Cheers 👍
Really interesting video Andrew, many thanks.
Fair play Andy machines are looking immaculate as usual. Very good video as standard.

Well done Andy very good tour of the machinery
Great Video, good to see such a wide range of gear all well kept
Very good kit nice condition 🚜👍🏴
We've had a few nice rains here finally in Ontario, Canada. About 30mm in a week. Soybeans are looking pretty good this year. They needed the drink.

Hey Andy, brilliant video, nice to see some good kit about. Keep up the awesome videos. Stay safe👍
Hi Andy I don’t have to google the ford 1520 F reg is around 88-89. The first car I bought was a 1987 E reg Ford Fiesta 1.4 ghia that’s how I know 😛
Another brilliant video, keep up the great work
Great Video again Andy looking forward to the next 2

Some tidy pieces of kit
I would like to find out on the fuel consumption per hectare of the John deree 8285r, 5503 and the combine harvester t660 models?
Nice little tour there mate 👍
This is great!

finally, cant wait for a vid about farm 2 and 3
Hi Andy great Video how many tractors do you have on all your farms
7 tractors, 2 jcb’s, sprayer and the combine. 👍
Great stuff,very interesting 👍
Good vid... one machine I read at first said "Amazon".and wondered if you got it delivered free with your Prime Membership... the looked again.. "Amazone" the "e" makes the difference 😎
Great video keep up the great work 👍🏻
Very intresting video Andy👍
Great video mate, love your jd. where did you get that cap ?
Good video Andy
Great kit Andy , atleast you have one Irish machine 😂👍🏻
*make that 2 😂
good video keep them coming stay safe
That's a lot of money there, you must be quite successful
Cool video, thanks
With all the Sharmans thing you have I’m surprised you don’t have a bailey trailer
Great videos. Will we ever see Simon? We only see a small dot driving the 8370 or 6150
Thanks! Probably not lol most others on the farm are camera shy lol
Amazing vid as usual will you do a farm 2 and farm3 tour
4 toppers 😂😂 class vid 👏
I’m curious on why you don’t use your plow?
The plough is too expensive to run, slow and bad for the environment in a few different ways. We use mainly minimum tillage method. 👍
Good video, how often do you change your combine.
5/6 years
I’d like to know the cost on some of your farm machines. I suppose a quick google search and I’ll find out
Best UA-cam ever
brilliant
What is the metal bit on the door handle of the 6215r?
For his Mesh Guard for when hes Hedgecutting
To hold the door guard on, you will see in this weeks vid. 👍
I think the Richard westerns are high speed as they are on air brakes.
Getting close to 30k 🙀
What the hours on the combine and ur tractor then Andy
900 on the combine and 640 on the tractor 👍
@@Itsafarminglifeforme that not much on the tractor then
@@Itsafarminglifeforme would u ever do a question and answer video whit ur dad Andy
great vid andy
Is hill master an option on the combine or was it on it when you bought it
Yes Hillmaster was an extra that we paid for.
The combine is 2WD, there is NO hydraulic mechanical assist drive to the rear wheels??
Have not watched long, you do not grow corn? Your combine is strictly for small grain?
Climate is not quite good enough to grow corn
The combine will harvest large grain perfectly well no problems and it is 2wd but for an extra 15k we could of had 4wd 👍
Hs stands for high speed I believe 👍
500hrs a year on the hedge trimmer? Do you do contracting with it?
A bit of contracting yes and I also have to cut 3 farms hedges.
how come your trailers are 14 t no more? we have trailers that are 14t, 15t, 18t and 19t. the 18t is 30 years old.
we are restricted to 18.4t of trailer and its contents
How much was combine? 300k?
Prob around 250k the big rotary ones are 300+
It's a lot of money to have in the shed for 45 weeks a year...but I guess it pays for it's self after a couple of seasons.
I think Hs stands for high speed
is it uk based farm or american
UK (England)
The Ford 1520 i would say it is from the 1980s
Why aren’t you usin de top link on the front
No need to.
Good vid why do you have so much shed space with nothing in it?
Most will be full this harvest.
I see
hs maybe hi speed ie for fasttrac speeds
