    What a wonderfully engaging gentleman, still so enthusiastic about his subject.

    Dr Rawlinson the kind of charming chap I would like to sit around campfire with, so he can tell me tales of his youth :)

    Fascinating and entertaining, thanks Sen. I'm applying to another programme at Cambridge and have no intention of studying medicines but you both's enthusiasm made me want to study it in another lifetime!

    Dr Rawlinson has such an inviting manner and seems so down to earth. I can imagine that he is a marvelous teacher! Senthooran, it's so lovely to see how much Dr Rawlinson has clearly inspired you. Although it is still very early, are there any particular specialties in medicine that are tempting you?

    Hi Kath,
    I would like to study medicine in Cambridge. How is the course , is it research oriented or clinical based. One of my friend said it is mostly academical and all end up in research rather than working in the hospital. Sorry to ask you all these stupid questions. Please let me know .How is the study and lecture in Medical school both Cambridge and Oxford. Thanks

      Mazza Issy i’ve heard that it is a more academic course but i think from 3rd year you start working in hospital. I don’t believe most people end up in research but rather will end up in jobs as junior doctors- although I have heard of people who’ve taken time out of this process to do a separate post-graduate degree in order to carry out a research project in a topic of interest. hope this helps :)

    I knew one Dr John Rawlinson: MBBS (1968) Guy Hospital London and who embarked on a PhD program on Anatomy soon after. He stayed at Methodist International House London and was a great fan of Mozart's "Magic Flute". Could this be the same John?

    • @SenthooranKath
      @SenthooranKath  4 роки тому

      It most possibly could be! It does all fit to depict Dr Rawlinson. Did you study together?

    • @chung-2kenaling303

      @@SenthooranKath We stayed in the same House. I graduated in the same year but not in medicine. He certainly looks and sounds (after 50+ years!) like the John I knew. The litmus test would be Mozart's Magic Flute!

    Amazing , btw any tips for A level maths ? I have already done all the past papers and there are still 5.5 months to go before my exams even though I've been getting full marks for mainly C3 and C4 . Any advice ?

    • @SenthooranKath
      @SenthooranKath  6 років тому +1

      Not really if you're getting full marks.. haha.. just keep doing what you're doing and hope everything goes well on exam day?? Don't really know what to suggest if you've already seemingly mastered those two modules :)
