If you spend 5 minutes per day on stretching - every day - you'll notice a significant increase in flexibility already after a couple of weeks. More flexibility in the ribcage means more ribcage expansion, meaning more volume in the lungs. That's how you increase lung capacity.
That last stretch is insane ! Thank you for these great ideas for stretching ^_^
glad you like it 🙏
The stretches I currently do involve arm stretches above head and the uddiyana badha. I've bookmarked this video to incorporate these into my training routine. Thanks a bunch!
great. remember you don't have to do them all at once. Rotate. Be consistent every day. 5mins/day over a few months. That's how eventually you'll become more flexible! cheers
Thank you so much for this tips for a greater breathing hold by makin lung expansion 👍🏻👍🏻 keep it up, really good for beginners to know this
Glad it was helpful!
Some good stuff here! We've been doing stretching exercises for diaphragm and ribcage but you've got some exercises we didn't know and can add to our repertoire.
awesome! 👍👍
Süper video 👍🙏
thank you so much !
Correct me if I’m wrong, but this 3:26 looks like upward facing dog, not the cobra.
And thank you for sharing such great content.
thanks for bringing attention to the difference between upward facing dog and cobra pose. Upward facing dog is when the hips are higher, cobra pose is with the hips on the mat.
@@gertleroy it looks to me like your hips are not touching the mat, hence was my comment. If they are, that this is one high cobra 😁
What a banger of a video! See, you don't have to just make filler shorts in the pool. lol
thanks! i wasn't sure this video would be a good one, but it seems the feedback so far is positive! good to see! ps. please don't stop me from making pool videos with freediving girls don't take that away from me hahaha

@@gertleroy ua-cam.com/video/0wL94CJirGc/v-deo.html look at this stretching video i just stumbled upon. I like how simple the approach is and how effective the stretching looks.
Lol I already do these not for my freediveing but for thorasic pain anyway so I don't have to introduce new things.
great. so now you don't have excuses anymore to go deeper!
