Here in Pakistan students will call their teachers as Sir, ma'am or Miss followed by their first name and that is how our teachers expect us to address them. We just can't call our teachers by their first, middle or last name before saying sir, ma'am or miss if you don't that is considered extremely disrespectful and you will be sent to the Principals office.
