born and raised in Holland, MI. I've known Del since i was a kid, have bought most of my guitars from his store, sad to see it gone, he does still do some fantastic guitar repair, had the honor of playing the last guitar he ever made, he was picking out sandman in his tool shed with it just this past summer.
Each man is as humble as he is talented, and that is saying one helluva lot. I'm like most of you: once you watch players like this tearing it up, I want to go burn my guitars.
Вот есть такое поверье у музыкантов, что за одну жизнь так не возможно научиться играть. К Томми Эммануэлю это поверье как нельзя лучше относится. Так хочешь - не хочешь поверишь в карму.
Yeah, so for whatever stupid reason I didn't know that Thom was Merle's son until a few months ago, don't laugh...oh O.K laugh. So I punched myself in the goonads, and it hurt, not gonna lie...Not the nads, the fact I didn't realize about Thom. Well, I'm a head banger at heart so please forgive me, but I sure do love those guys. And Jerry Reed, and Chet...R.I.P
You gotta be kiddin, he's just a terrific groove...no matter what he plays. By the way he's not much of a jazz player, if you think of jazz as a style of course. But his approach is definetely jazzy and that's what makes his fingerepickin special.
Tommy has a great rhythmic groove. What the heck are you on about? And flashy? I prefer entertaining and exuberant. He's out there showing people a good time. Why does that bother people so much?
I've heard this a million times and I'm still in disbelief how good these guys are...!!!!
The same Thing man. Im playing this every day
Thom's expression says it all, can't help but smile
Thom you are awesome, so humble and full of love, laughter, joy and passion..... you rock man!!!
Why this is so beautiful..
love to see those guys together, so talented and so much fun together.
Bresh is a true living legend. Love you Breshman
This is my all time favorite guitar made by Del Langejans of Holland, MI. in 1987..
Recognized the style as soon as I saw it! My W-6 was made in 1992. Del is a genius.
Great to see people who love what they are doing and producing fabulous music.

That looks like Merle's old D-28 with the Bigsby neck that Tommy's playing. I've seen a photo of Doc Watson playing that guitar.
Nothing like some good ole fashion Inspiration!!
tommy you made the best arrengements eveeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... nobody can belive your skill, not even MJ!!
TIGHT AND RIGHTEOUS
МОЛОДЦЫ!
I just found two old 78's of Merle Travis. One of them has Fat gal,and the other has I'll See You In My Dreams.
Sell the lard
Perfect!
GREAT!!
Wow..... to Thom`s Thumb !..:)
Woooooooooooow!
Браво !!!
Incredible pickin
To me best guitar pickers in the world still alive today before that it was Chet and Merle. These 2 should re record the album Atkins and Travis did.
You realize, of course, that Bresh is Merle Travis’ son...
Bresh's speed made Tommy smile, but he did keep up once he got going
So much mutual respect, neither is trying to 'out-do' the other.....why would they ?
I want Thom Bresh as my next door neighbor
Merle's Martin with a Bigsby neck.
What kind of axe are you playing Mr.Bresh?
My theory is they are both aliens and I'm sticking to it!
Do you have your dad's old Bigsby acoustic?
If only it were acoustic. Never yet heard a decent piezo. Tommy sounds SO better when he puts the guitar in front of a mic. EVERYBODY does
Absolutely. Great players, but these guitars sound like shit.

As good as Thom is it looked like he was was too intimated to take a lead after Tommy's.
koeien jongens
I like Tommy better as a jazz player; on this kind of music I find him too fast and flashy, and he loses the rhythmic groove.
haanashim lol!!!!
haanashim he gets excited sometimes.
haanashim
I think Tommy is more of a show off. . . .
However. . . .

Too many notes...
