Arthurs seat is a tremendously steep hill on Melbourne's Mornington Peninsula. The average gradient is around 7 to 8 percent and it runs for just under 3 kilometres.
We thought this would be the perfect place to test the Earth T-Rex 29sp electric mountain bike as it has an epic reputation as a hill climber. The 48 volt, 500 watt, rear hub system made short work of this fairly savage hill, in fact it seemed easier than many of the mid drive bikes i've ridden up Arthurs Seat.
If you need an electric bike to get you up extreme hills in a timely manner then you should definitely check out the Earth T-Rex 29 sp electric bike.

Thought you only can have 250w motor and max speed of 25km in Australia.Is this correct?

Al Slatyer most motors can put out more than 250 Watts but have been governed.

Has this bike got hand throttle? Or is peddle assist only ?

wokbok43 it has a throttle but only walking pace/6 km. Handy for hill starts.

Can you try climbing a hill with different avg speed setting and gears so you do have a little workout on your legs not just an easy ride? And can you put your comment if it was easy or hard? I know full motor speed will be too easy and no challenge and drain battery faster so would like it if you could do one that is the best mode and longest?

I just got off the phone with my doctor and he said I have an erectial dysfunction from jerking off too much. So he prescribed me some tablets and they've been working pretty well, although I have been noticing at around 7pm every 2 days or so it'll just shoot out it's really crazy, so my next appointment is April 22nd, I'll let you know how it goes!
