What a great video! Today, I was invited to a holiday luncheon by my business colleagues who are Croatian. They roasted a lamb and used a Peka to cook the turkey, potatoes and onions. The lamb was cooked to perfection, the turkey was unbelievably moist throughout and the potatoes and onions were very delicious. This experience fed my curiosity to seek out the Peka and I discovered this video during the process; what a wonderful find. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing. What a very beautiful country and so rich in culture...hope I can visit there, someday. My son is going there for a short vacation with his Croatian partner on Dec.2018,am sure it will be wonderful, can’t wait to see those amazing photos and stories from him soon.
Thank you so much for this fun and beautiful video. I spent 2 years in Split. Your video brought back many, many fond memories, almost like a trip back. Awesome!
Awesome video. Thanks I like to find new places (new to me) to travel and visit once i move back to my home country, and Croatia seems like an awesome place. Its very similar to my country (Spain) with the wine, and cheese and well.....We dont have prosciutto but we have Jamon Serrano (which is similar but Jamon is less salty and we use different type of pig). Anyway, i hope i can visit Croatia soon, i dont know anybody there but i hope i can meet some people and find out more about it. I see all the same stuff in a lot of other videos i would like to see some nice things that are not too popular with tourists.
Great Video. We just arrived in Split and got a very similar down pour of rain and thunder...we stayed in our apartment and watched your video instead of going out...we're San Diegans too...so it was a surprise to see such rain in summer.
Ava Torre-Bueno Thanks for watching, We got a very unusual amount of rain last weekend. Not sure if you were here for it, but very Croatia like. I hope you are having a great time!
This is a combination of the "Croatia Adventure with Chris Terzich" video that was shared on the Love Croatia Facebook page and "My Croatian Family" video that was shared on the Slike Cetine Facebook page. I wanted one video that had the family highlights focused on the food, the Blue and Red Lakes, not included in "Croatia Adventure" along with the other wonderful sights from the "Croatia Adventure." Goal was a video the length of a half hour TV program, with commercials, that would hopefully have broad appeal. Was fun to do and I was glad that it combined relatively seamlessly.
Funny thing about when they are putting Catchup on the pizza….the first time I went to Brazil we went to a pizza restaurant and when they brought the pizza they also brought catchup, mustard and mayo….I was thinking to myself…and this is for what??? Now I get it…LOL
Nice to see countries still around with a true authentic culture
