  • Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself with the title, but I have never seen this before in my years of playing this game, and I strongly doubt I will ever see it again! And of course it was in the 10NL Challenge...
Thanks again for all the support!

After three years you'd think Nick would have given up trying to make 10NL players fold strong hands on the river. It doesn't matter how perfectly you represent the straight, they're not thinking about your hand.

you had the exact same aces in both hands too. the chances of that happening against the same player in the span of a few minutes is astronomical, like as likely as finding life on the moon or something. more likely to be rigged than not at that point lmao

That algorithm is wonky mate, AA vs AA 6 handed which I’ve never actually seen before, granted over a much smaller sample size, but to have it happen twice, vs the same player, in the span of a minute, I can’t put into words how astronomical that is

The likelihood of AA vs AA is (give or take) 276,000 to 1. The likelihood of it happening back to back is roughly 7.6x10^9 to 1 (what Americans would call 76 billion to one, but my understanding is that Brits use trillion and billion differently).

Just a question is your bb win rate include rakeback or exclude? I play 10nl pokerstars and winnjng with rakeback but currently am losing about 2bb / 100 over 110,000 hands without rakeback. I am up about $150 overall. I have had quite a bad distribution of hands, recorded all my set over set hands and have lost twice as many as ive won set over set which accounts for half of my loss

Serious question - you run bad esp in big spots but how outside “normal” is this? I get crushed pretty consistently in big spots to point I’m surprised when I win an all in. But everyone I respect is always preaching variance n volume so scale 1-10 with 1 being “normal” n 10 being “impossible” what do u rate ur variance in these games?

    • @eastyyy22

I assume the lack of 3betting strong hands is because 3bets are generating a lot more folds at 10NL
So their adaption involves flatting these hands instead
What they don't realise is that they should be 3betting more hands if this is true...just bizarre
