i just turned 26 this year. bought myself a mini home on a piece of land (all cheaper then rent around 950$ cad a month) next step is to pay off my toyota by the end of the year and take more control of my income. invest- invest- invest. enjoyed the vid ben. always wanted the luxury life but have to set yourself up first and the fun stuff will come later. not trying to have monthly payments out my a** just to impress people. hoping it will all come will time.
It suits my lifestyle. I have assets in the form of ETF’s which is my long term investment strategy. Having cash reserves for me enables me to live my life freely without crippling my lifestyle because I’m over leveraged in assets that don’t serve my desires. I have a retirement strategy and I have 0 money stress right at this point in time also.
@@dayr1227I would lean towards purchasing a home if a family is something I wanted yes. But renting would still appeal and I would weigh up the numbers purchasing vs renting against my investment strategy.
Great video thanks for the insights
Appreciate it

This is awesome Josh and great mindset. Set your sights long term and don’t forget to live a little along the way. Life goes quick 🙏

So what happens when you have a family and you can't rent a shoebox anymore for 4 or 5 people to live in?
I’m not quite sure what you’re asking?
@@bencaneva Wouldn't you need to purchase a house for your family to live in instead of renting a 1 bed apartment for your entire life
