- Michael Wincott as Jeremy Brunell in the film What Just Happend (2008). Michael plays a tempermental director who does not want to give up his artistic integrity. Jeremy has a world-class hissy fit in this scene! Also in this scene, Robert De Niro and Catherine Keener.
Great actor Michael Wincott. Unfortunately he hasn't made enough films as he should have.
My favorite scene in the movie along with his speech!!! I LOVE Michael Wincott, he is PERFECT!!!
He hates other actors and actresses that he is no good to me being a satanic villain😡
"Oh! The right thing now, is it?" gets me every time. Michael Wincott is the best.
Watching this just right after watching The Crow and Strange Days was a big LOL.... MW is pure talent
Michael Wincott is truly one of the best character actors out there. Check out his performances in Talk Radio, The Crow and Dead Man to name a few. Also did a fantastic job as the voice of Death in Darksiders 2
And as the guard in chateau D’if in the count of Monty cristo
Very powerful and moving scene !!!
LOL Catherine Keener as Paula Wagner
Wow... this scene is intense/so good at what he does - his facial expressions and tone of voice are great - I'm impressed seeing as I had only seen his acting "The Crow" back in 2006 cause it was a fave of my ex. The director... I don't like her as she feels derogatory in tone behind what she says to him and about him to De Niro's character -- it's as if she's finding him to be lesser than she and hence behaves coldly, and thus tries to talk to De Niro's character which just feels harsh and unnecessary to be like even though he gets frustrated and loses his cool, I mean her cold disdain was the deciding factor (influence) at play there, I can't blame the character for disliking her cold tone and dismissing him. I would of been frustrated too! M.Wincott is really creative talented soul/person!
It´s a real pity he didn´t use this accent on Robin Hood. It would elevate his scenes, especially the ones with Alan Rickman, to a whole new level.
He could pull off a very decent accent for a character living in medieval england. I guess the same couldn´t be said for Kevin Costner...
He really looks like Scott Weiland in here.
I agree! He spoke English accent when he was young, beside his English father and Italian mother...
I love when he goes crying!! it's just like a kid :D very funny!!!!!
I rewatched I Am Legend the other night and I couldn't stop laughing when the dog dies in that movie because all I could imagine was this scene. "No look! The DOG! DIES!!" XD
In the movie or in an interview?
I always wanted to know what was like for him working with Brandon
i didn't know that was michael wincott I didn't recognize him
He looks just like Scott Weiland!
Made me think about David Lynch.
This scene would have you believe the rest of the movie was better
actual in reality michael is one of the coolest characters around... even that "stuck up bitch", as she got called below^^, couldnt mess with him, just watch some films, he is almost too cool sometimes.
In my opinion,it takes more than a number to make a movie
He is excellent... He spoke English accent when he was young, beside his English father and Italian mother...Pity he did not use in the movie Robin Hood...Pity for Costner too...Then, Alan Rickman stole the entire film...:)
Killing the dog haha.
I love this movie.
How many here think this actually happened?
Am I crazy for liking this movie? Everybody shits on it.
Katherine Keener is great ❤
