Best way to solve the lack of contact is to select the cube and toggle "Can the Character Step On" to false... You retain the physics collision and not the IK collision... Great video GORKA as usual.
i almost used to do something similar.. i used to remove the original collision then i add another box collision in the mesh and adjust it the way you did, and it worked for me, your way seems more professional so im gonna go with that one now 😂

Like how to make boss use different attack based on player position with paper zd.There's literally no 2D boss AI tutorial on youtube with Behaviour Tree. All the 2D boss have a single attack . Nothing like Blassphamous Or Hollow Knight level boss AI.
There’s better tutorials than this one but it’s a good one none the less. Theres proper foot and leg vector tutorials for the stairs. . It actually gets your foot to step on every step and if it’s a large gap your foot position is tracked .

For more knowledge like steller blade you find chest open it it give you outfits and you press escape and open pause menu and there outfit taps and you have new outfit unlocked and can equip it while the first outfit as default equip

You can actually add more stairs to the starter stairs … instead of duplicating… it’s in the settings.
