Trapping a big boar hog then we head a long ways from home to catch a group of young spotted boar hogs. Where we run into a little trouble with the truck getting stuck.
216 # of good pork for a family. Not a bad catch. Another one bites the dust. Great catch. Hope all is good health wise for you and Harlow. 103 fever is not good. He needs to rest. @@DavidEllisYawtYawt I think Yawt Yawt should put on a back brace foreal. The same kind they use for moving furniture. You are constantly dragging and pulling on heavy hogs with some being heavier than others. Always remember how really fragile the lower back is.

I just listened to I'd Like to Think Lonesome and I was very happy to hear a country singer who actually sounds like a real country singer. I tried to leave a message for Brian telling him I enjoyed his song but he has his comments turned off. Oh well, at least I can thank you for mentioning his song because I don't know if I would ever have found him if you hadn't. I also enjoy watching you catch these hogs. Everyone you catch is one more that doesn't destroy a man's land or crop.

Hello David. I never knew how many hogs are down South. I live up North on the East Coast, we don't get hogs, we get snow and cold. I have been to pig roasts and have eaten wild boar at game dinners, all delicious. I hope all is well with you after your checkup at the doctors. Keep speaking the word of GOD, I listen and pray. Lol, "Just a little tight. Almost had it" as the frames a few inches buried in the dirt. There isn't enough room on the sides of that "road" to hit it at an angle is there? But that can only help so much. Anyways, thank you Mr. Ellis for the video release on a Sunday morning. Really makes for a relaxing mid morning with your humor and positive attitude. Wild hogs have only made it to the southern part of my state, Minnesota, as of yet. Hopefully the biter artic cold will keep them there. I am not gonna hold my breath on that though. I'm over 70 and can still hear my Dad hollering at me on a dirt road about to high center: GET OVER!!!. You only had to move over a couple inches...
Helped a tiny young lady dig out a big rock/small boulder she'd high centered on at a garage sale...she was begging: "Nobody will listen to me; all we have to do is move the rock." Every man but one said in passing "You're gonna need a tow truck". We didn't, we crawled under, dug around the rock and I'd knotted a rope and 3 women and 1 man pulled that huge rock out from under her Yukon. God is good.

Those are crazy high humps. Kinda over kill. But as long as the land owner is happy with them I guess it’s all gooood. How you liking the can-am ? Are limited as to what you can modify on that Barnes truck? Winch, lockers, mud grips… Would definitely help when you trap for a living?
He has to return the truck in a year. Add ons are not a good investment in what is essentially a borrowed truck. Triple A would be a better investment.

David........you have much more understanding the most about feral hogs since you deal with then daily. So explain to your audience why feral hogs dont get sick from the many diseases out there. Swine flu as just on of them. Hog farmers can have as many as 1000 or more hogs die overnight. And these hogs have nothing to bother them. Please give a basic explanation .

It was the extra weight of the hogs that did it. They weighted down your backend thus catching the underbelly of the truck especially if you have low tire pressure.
Im way over the hill and that 4 wheller road was not made for normal auto's, you drove fine. Proud of you David.

I got a hog problem down here in Southwest Mississippi that I just figured out is a whole lot worse than I thought it was.
I kept looking for the bloody side! And that land owner needs to rent a D6 and smooth-out his road!
Those humps are made to keep road from washing out. Mainly for 4 wheelers 😂

It only takes a "Karen" or two to report to YT about blood and whatever it offends them and then David would get a warning before they decide to shut down his videos. It's stupid and I've seen a ton of hunting and trapping videos uncensored and nothing happens to them until someone reports it. Same for breeding/AI and some gory vet surgeries, they get shut down by YT because it was too bloody and "cruel". SMH

Back up a foot put a rock in front of the back tires when you run over the rock or you had a couple pieces of 2x6 would have worked better!! I always carry one of those big jacks when I ran them WV logging roads!!

How you doing? I think i figure out something. A welp hen makes a sound like yawt yawt. I have hunted since the early 90s. Lost my job so I had to sell all hunting guns and collection S&W revolvers. I was a handgun hunter. I was on the elk task force ODFW. I was able to open elk hunting by handgun. I used a TC contender in 35 Remington with hand loaded 200 grain bullets. sites: 2x Leopold pistol scope. I hunted coastal black tail deer and Blue Mountain big timber white tail deer. Hope you are doing what enjoy. I am a type 1 diabetic on insulin. Enough thought i have managed my diabetes very well I have complications. The nerves which make my stomach and intestinal track work are damaged. My stomach does work right (gastropareis) food stays in to long and doesn't digest. My diet is very simple and includes baby food in those plastic tube. God is allowing hard things to come into our lives so we have to rely on him. Be safe and God bless.
