A record 450lb Boar was taken in Alberta a few years ago. The leading authority (the Canadian Wild Pig Research Project at the University of Saskatchewan) calls for no action because hunting blows the chance for trapping & there's very very few trappers up here as of yet! So the message here's needed to be heard north of the US Border too.

It’s very important to do back exercises every day, to maintain the flexibility and strength in your core and the muscles around your spine. I was rear ended in a car accident over three years ago, and it screwed up my lower back and neck and currently have bulging discs and I have to constantly do exercises, twice per day to keep it from getting worse. That’s the key: Do the exercises and keep the weight off. Excess weight really wears out your back and lower joints, from your hips, to your knees, and ankles. I’m still working on the “weight” part! 😰 If I was David, I would winch up anything over 80 pounds with either an electric or an air winch and while the winch is working, on one pig, grab any of the smaller pigs by hand.

I enjoy your videos David. . you can grease the tongue jack to your trailer fairly easy by stabilizing the trailer on some blocks taking the weight off the jack. After that take the bolts off the top by the handle and grease the bolt screw all the way down. It will go up and down like a charm from then on.

However I enjoy your content because you have a good heart. This is your way of life you catch and share what you eat and from what I can see your kill shots are clean and that to me makes all the difference. Harbor Freight has a hand winch that mounts on the floor and can be raised and lowered when driving to winch in those big hogs. It also swings in and out as well.
After injuring my back carrying heavy stuff, I learned my lesson. I couldn’t walk for weeks. Going to the bathroom was pure agony. He thinks it won’t happen to him and he doesn’t want to spend money on a winch. Big mistake.
Make you a removable pivot boom with a wench on it that would really save your back I know your son helps sometimes but doing it by yourself I applaud you keep up the good work

At the very least, you might get a length of pipe or a board and use it as a lever. Maybe you could place one end on top of the side of your little trailer and lever the hogs up and over using your dragging tool on the lever somewhere in the middle. Maybe you could get some scrap rollers off an old boat trailer and mount them off the end of your trailer to help get over that step up into the trailer. A roller that you could take on and off would be ideal. Love the vids!

WINCH PLEASE! I have metal ramps for my 4-wheeler that I use on my truck. Use those and a winch to ease those hogs into your trailer without harming your back because once your back goes out it never will be the same again.

Flip your hitch over. take the ball off, flip the hitch upside down and put the ball back on. Itll raise it about 6 inches, don’t look like it would hit the tailgate even if it’s flipped. We’ve done this on our side by side and it saves your back jacking the trailer up and down.

You need to fabricate a small receiver in the back corner of the Yoda, the Ranger and the trailer that you could have a little jib with a pulley on it to lift them hawgs into instead of pulling your guts out.
Spray it with white lithium grease works great. Maybe you could get you a little winch, and weld it to the front of your trailer. Sur would be easier than jerking on em.

get a good Olympic weight lifting belt while you still have a good back. once the L4/L5 disk lets go you are 40 years older.
